Another great example of the hateful rheotiric, trump yet again calls Kamala, "COmrad kamala." doesn't excuse any rhetoric, but trump is the one spreading the biggest amount, lying about judges, and their families, lying about trials, calling everyone he doesn't like names. BOTH sides need to stop it, but probably won't with trump unless more people tell him to stop.

There is something disturbing with both trump and don JR BOTH posting hateful rehetoric while complaining about it.

This is another rather unbelievable post, in my opinion. Whatever happened to the belief that Americans ought to have freedom of speech and freedom of choice within the law when it comes to our political differences?
It's kind of like asking someone who got raped what they were wearing at the time as if it was their fault. So I can see what you're saying.

I don't think this assassin was an official agent of the law.

Trump is probably one of the most hated presidents in history.

If Obama was criticized by anyone, even for legitimate reasons, liberals screamed “RACICM”!

Yet, it’s ok to laugh about threats on Trump’s life because he’s white and so-called “privileged.”

Makes no sense.
That's not true. I have criticised Obama many times for his policies, like his drone strikes, and was never called a racist for it.

I strongly dislike Trump as a candidate to be a world leader because he resembles a lot of what the proverbs say not to do.

However, using demon logic to ostracize this person has farther reaching consequences.

Since it is said that a murderer has no eternal life in him and those who hate are the same as murderers, similar to those who lust are the same as adulterers .. it is essential as Christians to engender an attitude that gives room for eternal life in said nation.

All the hate being expressed back and forth is the kind of "wishing the other party was dead" .. the media narrative of this election is very challenging for the gospel, and for the ambassadors kingdom of God.

I pray the Americans in the thick of it find some inspiration to be the gospel in this moment of extreme divisiveness.

May God bless America.

Uh
I know they're just as guilty of making inflammatory remarks and inciting violence
As I pointed out in post #95 in this thread. Also, who could forget Biden 's speech when he railed against Trump and MAGA Republicans with a hellish red background or when Biden said “it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye” just days before the first assassination attempt. Then we have Harris who stated that Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy and fundamental freedoms. This type of rhetoric fuels hatred and could very well lead to violence! The democrats really know how to exploit and abuse the word "democracy." Tyranny could inevitably end up becoming the outcome of their idea of democracy.

The place where the gunman was hiding is a well known place to the secret service where paparazzi hide to get pictures of Trump. That's probably why the agent checked it thoroughly and spotted the rifle.
There should have been someone posted there or at the least checked it before Trump got in the area

...and reporting also indicates the suspect was there for some 12 hours. We also know Trump's golf outing was not on his official schedule. It's unknown when Trump decided he wanted to go golfing. So, for sake of argument, let's say it was 3 hours. In such circumstances, the Secret Service sends out a team with the Presidient, establishing a floating security bubble as moves about the golf course. In this case, the agent assigned to scout the next hole spotted the suspect and immediately engaged.

It seems to me that if you want a more secure perimeter, local police will need to be involved to, at the very least, cover all 3 public streets that form the perimeter of that golf course. And for them to be effectively involved, Trump will need to give advance notice of his golf schedule.

One more point:

Trump may want to upgrade the golf course perimeter fence. For a man who is big on wall buidling, it's rather surprising to hear he has chain link fence separating public streets and his fairways.

Trump is nothing if not cheap. From the way it described, the fence is mostly lined with bushes to keep out the peasants.

And the left does the exact same thing.
I wish everyone would get tired of this and in four years we could have debate and discussion about policies and not personalities but I'm afraid it's only going to get worse
Donald J Trump is all about personality. His policies shift according to rally crowd response. His policies consistently seem to be 1) make America great again (no specifics), 2) keep foreigners, especially those from [crap]-hole countries, out 3) retribution towards Democrats 4) change the professional, merit-based civil service system to the spoilers/loyalist system and 4) his policy on childcare consists of tariffs on all imports.

Most the MAGA campaign attacks on his opponent apart from the bogus open borders, immigrants eating pets, trans issues, etc. are also personality based: empty suit, shrill, hyena, etc.

He needs to quit playing golf for the time being

I'm surprised he didn't try to get the SS to pay for his walls - the way he makes them pay for golf cart rentals, water, premium rentals.

interesting he uses rhetoric that might get someone shot, while attacking democrats for using such. Almost as if the right does it as much as the left, but only complain about it. Again how much, "Democrats are marxist/facists/muslim loving/comunists/demonic/child killing, will destroy the country if they get into power.

Most if not everything said about trump has been said similarly about biden/harris. Not saying either is right, but funny how the right only complains about hateful rhetoric when it's the dems.
Funny the violence is on one side...
