OK then. We have scripture that says that God is merciful, and that God is merciless. I have stated that those verses that shows God to do evil and is merciless, have been not correctly translated. Since there are contradictions in scripture of that nature, then only one point of view is correct. Either God is merciful and good, or He is merciless and evil. I will remind everyone again that it was the Catholic Church that CANONIZED scriptures. That statement alone should answer your question; the fact Pagan Rome had a religious belief in Hades prior to Christianity. Why should a persons punishment be exceedingly more beyond measure than any sins that they had committed? What need would that satisfy any God, to torture living being for all eternity. That does not make sense to even any rational human being. Now I ask everyone here; do you still believe in an eternal Hell?

The message was not for you alone, but whom ever should read it. I do not like being an ass, but like anyone else I do not like to get trampled upon either. It seems to me that you did take a second look at what I wrote, I hope others will also pay closer attention. I have read all your comments with curiosity, intrigue and sceptcism, however I am afraid the 'harsh words' and use of belittling language immediately turn me away from the presentation of information you have put together. If you have a message of truth/revelation then I can only suggest you amend the format and method that you have utilised in delivering it, because at the moment its not working very well in an abbrasive format and would be better favoured coming from the fruits of Gods Spirit which are clear characteristics of Gods input in a situation.

I agreed with you early in this thread that:
A.) THERE IS NO HELL but the grave.
B.) People will not be burned alive forever or their lives permanently eliminated by ETERNAL DEATH
But
C.) There is in fact a LAKE OF FIRE where torture WILL transpire and THIS is what most 'believers' consider to be HELL and that the DEVIL and his messengers will in fact be IN THIS LAKE of FIRE forever
