Does anyone here understand that we are both Adams? It is the first Adam (our flesh) that is destroyed by the lake of fire and the last Adam (our spirit) that is saved and remains eternaly. Yet those who don't understand this seem to want to thorought us spirit-and-all into hell. It is the first Adam (flesh) that is the disobedient goat.

No, Christ is called the second Adam because all those that are born of him are born again, or born of Christ, and this is a spiritual transformation. Just as God chose abraham, that all those born of abraham would be His people, and just like those born of adam (there just weren't anyone else to be born of) are born into sin. Those Born into Christ are God's people, and it's a kingdom within you, if you are not born of Christ, then you are still in your sins and born of Adam (transgression).

You promote works based effort to "make it" or "PAY MORE" for it! Christ either removes sin by HIS shed blood, or He does not.
Being GOD (in flesh), HIS BLOOD IS SUFFICIENT TO REMOVE SIN from us - we simply accept that over us in faith.

We cannot PAY for our sins, becuz we are sinners by nature - errgo, animals had to be a sacrifice for sin, yet that never REMOVED SIN from them, the blood (life blood) allowed God to look over those sins and bypass them.
HIS BLOOD removes sin becuz He was perfect. Something we can never be, which is why HE CAME for us; we can't do it on our own!

More reading in here! It doesn't say all will have eternal life & be saved, IT SAYS THAT ALL HAVE ACCESS TO SALVATION THRU CHRIST RIGHT NOW.

You guys keep reading in your universal theology into these verses, GOD MADE IT OPEN for us, it doesn't state that all will have salvation - becuz other verses directly teach that many will not! FEW in fact.

Try Judas, the "son of perdition" from John 19 - Judas was "LOST".

So why did Christ then say that we must repent of our sins or likewise perish in Luke 13:1-5? Apparently, according to you, that would be a waste of time cause we're all going to Hell to work off our sins. Where is the scripture that supports that? This line of thinking is ridiculous. You're saying that the sacrifice of Jesus, was not sufficient to earn salvation for those that repent of their sins and call upon His name to be saved. Nope, according to you, the only thing that is sufficient to earn salvation is for a bunch of sinners to be "sacrificed" in Hell for an indeterminite period of time. That's what will satisfy God's wrath. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and it flies in the face of Ephesians 2:8-9. There is NOTHING we can do to save ourselves, NOTHING. Being burned in Hell will not pay the penalty, only Christ can do that and He did that. But hey, you wanna work your way to Heaven, good luck with that. As for myself, I'm trusting in Christ.

I can’t believe your twisted sense of logic Nadiine. You are the type of person that will argue both sides of an issue just because you enjoy arguing. You are not interested in truth and reconciliation, just division.

I have just two LAST things to say to you:

First, “no condemnation” does not mean “no suffering” it means “saved”!
Last, if you think that just because you are a saved Christian you will no longer suffer then you are WRONG!

1 Peter 4:

12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
13 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

The concept of Hell is part of the Pagan religion. In the K.J.V. of the Old Testament the Hebrew word sheol means "grave." Also other words are not translated, but the interpretation "Hell" is given. Thats why in the N.I.V. you dont see the word Hell in the Old testament. The reason you see the word Hell in the new testament, is because it was introduced into scripture by the Catholic Church. However, there is death of the body and spirit. Our bodies are mortal, and our spirits are mortal. And if God never called us back into being, we would never live again. And where Jesus said: have you not heared, you are gods:/// That is based upon the promise of believing that Jesus is the way to the truth and life: By the way, it is hidden in scripture that God is Truth and Life. Also we must keep Gods commandments because they were not done away with. It was Moses laws that were written in stone by Joshua that were done away with. Dont forget the bible uses many parables.

Our bibles teach us that there is death and the grave, also a ressurrection of the rightous. My complaint is that the word "HELL" is used to replace words like "grave" or "pit", and others. I would not have complained if the word "Hell" was'nt part of the Pagan religion. There is indeed a punishment for the wicked. Life for us and death for them. People will be thrown into the judgement = fire. And their condemnation will be for all eternity, and final. There is scripture that supports the idea, that the condemed will be made aware of their fate, as part of their punisment. However their final state after the judgement is death. It is not until after this judgement, that death and the grave will be done away with.

The mention of hell is all over the place - including in parables and warnings given - the same concept. Why give ANY warning about anything in the afterlife if nothing exists that could harm us?
The entire Bible teaches reward for righteousness, and judgment/punishment for unrighteousness.

People simply REFUSE to let GOD tell us His truth - they'de rather remake and redefine the bible to suit their opinions and human wisdom.
As if God has to fit our definitions. We're to mold to HIS definitions, not make up what they should be and force GOD to fit within it.

there was no one else to be born of but Adam, if there were other men, then some would be born of others and not be in transgression. If you are born of Christ, then you are of God's people and not in transgression. ALL men IN CHRIST will be made alive.

Some will be purified here, (taking up our crosses, those that are believers? and the rest after death, which will involve much worst punishment, that which we are saved from? christ's death saves us from more torture then what we normally would recieve?

We, who are serving God in this life are being tried and refined in the spiritual lake of fire now

That is a blatant misinterpretation of scripture. We have the fire of the Holy Spirit upon yes, but it is not the same as the lake of fire that comes after judgment. Those who are not saved will be cast into, and will not emerge from it.

I think that Nadiine was talking about suffering after death: as in hell. It is true that we would not suffer after death, because we would be in heaven with God. But in this life, yes we will suffer, as it says in the Bible. But this is not a punishment.
