Is anyone have any experience, good or bad, with Theophostic Prayer Ministry?

Experience is something you don't have until after you need it.

Has it been confirmed that it is not scripture based. Do you have anything you can post on that information you outlined? What is it?
Did a google search.
Appears to be a counciling procedure but does not mention using the Bible as a basis for the counseling.
Only the training of the counselor to hear the HS and Interceed.
.
This sounds a little like sozo ministry but not quite. I'm currently reading a great book, Healing the wounded Heart, that talks about the negative seeds that speak lies to us from wounds of our childhood. The minister is Thom Gardner and the website is www.graceandtruthfellowship.com I've been quite impressed with the Godly foundation for this type of ministry.

Yes, and the difference is the emphasis put on God, not the human. Good stuff. Just get at the framework, and leave the bones.
Sounds like Thom Gardner is a good name b/c we all need to be the gardners in the soil of minds and if seeds have been sowed in our minds in childhood then as a result we need to cultivate the good produce there, while weeding out the bad seeds, not by following after that evil with our thoughts, but let go by bringing it captive to Christ. And plant seeds of the good kind , cutivated by following after those thoughts instead of the evil ones.Sounds more humanistic than anything.

Theophostic does not sound good.

Dont let the term Theophositic scare you. It is simply a compound word from Theos (God) and phosphos (light) and means Gods Light Prayer Ministry. It seems to me to be nothing more than a form/technique of prayer ministry that may no more/less valid that any other more traditional form.
But what Im beginning to see in this thread is that if it didnt originate with Word-Faith preacher it cant possibly be the truth.
