Theodicy and persuading fellows to accept God does fully care despite the troubles in this evil world.

I wrote a kind of theodicy for a friend and as a story telling basis. The part, a bit like Irenaus idea on soul creation, regarding God looking ahead, with the creation of angels with qualities and suitable names, and leaving some out... was to brief to be convincing. Consider the creation of Lucifer and maybe leaving out other ones who would have fallen and been to powerful... and consider His love and minimizing of the extent and duration of evil, how can one persuade non believers that God did the best job, in view of the world today and in the past?
