Yes but I don't believe in Loch Ness monster even if 1000 people have seen it with out evidence I will not believe it.

I am curious.

It basically accuses scientists, many of them Christians, working in numerous different fields of lying by saying that there is evidence when they know there is none.

Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible called names Dragons,Behemoth and Leviathan(they say these refer to elepahnts and hippos but they don't)

The word Dinosaur was invented in 1841 A.D.

When we rediscovered them he decided to trick us into thinking that they are millions and millions of years old to destroy our faith in the bible.
AND BOY IT HAS WORKED GOOD!

Then after that we satrted thinking we came from apes a comsic burp 18 bilion yrs ago,etc.....*

So Satan is doing it all?

What a busy fellow he must be, planting all those fossils and making light move in that strange way it does to indicate that the universe is billions of years old when it is not!

But why is Satan bothering with all this?

Surely he cannot care how old humans think the earth is?

After all, whether a human thinks the world is old or young has no impact on their salvation, does it?

Seems a bizarre amount of effort to go to for no return.

Here's a though - if Satan can do all of that, why doesn't he simply create a coffin with the body of Jesus of Nazareth in it and have it discovered?

That would disturb more people's salvation, surely?

This dinosaur stuff must be really wearing him out by now - all this work and yet the Cahtolic Church rolls on, the Anglican one does too, the Methodists and many Baptists.

All of them still believe in Christ.

How annoying for the poor guy.

But maybe Satan isn't as smart as you and me. Maybe he thinks that there is a connection between the age of the earth and salvation. Let's not tell him that there isn't - that way, he'll continue to waste his time.

It's a relief you and I know that they age of the earth has no effect on one's salvation. If we didn't, imagine how succesful Satan could be?

Believing in evoltuion does indeed damage some peoples faiths.

It is calling Jesus Christ a LIAR!

Not believing in as little as 1 part of the Bible tends to cause you lose faith and/or to lean to one side or the other(sometimes complete evolution).

When I believed in evolution I almost turned atheist(I was agnostic for a few years).
I thought the whole Bible was ignorant and archaic and I stoped reading it.
I had NO IDEA that I was calling Jesus Christ a liar!

When it is taught in public school it turns many children away from the Bible,like it did to me and lots of other people I know.

Many people do not know very much about these ethics.

Hector, you're painting with awfully broad strokes. Please address us non-YEC Christians and tell us why we're calling Jesus a liar. I mean, doesn't calling someone a liar have to be an intentional act? I worship Jesus! I may or may not have wrong beliefs, but in any event, I'm not "calling Jesus a liar." Don't be so dramatic - it's dishonest.

So you know its somewhere but you do not know where?

And let us say that Jesus said that we came from Adam. So? Adam was the first being with the ability to commune with God, that's all. No contradiction.

And let us say that Jesus said that the earth was created in 6 days. I believe Jesus occasionally spoke in parables, using metaphor and poetry. Why not this time?
