What part? I live on the extreme Eastern side about 2 miles from the Idaho border. My son lives on the far Western side North of Seattle and my daughter is South of Seattle. It takes me about 5 hours of driving to visit them.

There are so many different types of environments in Washington State that one could say they want to live in Washington and that could mean they want to live on an ocean beach, or in a desert, or on a wheat farm, or in a rugged mountainous pine forest, or in a rain forest, or on an island, etc, etc...

My area is a farm area with rolling hills of wheat and grains. However, I can drive 15 miles and be in a beautiful pine forest...
