There have been a few of these threads now, and if you have bad luck it might even be possible that people can identify you based on your answers.

I'll never forget the time when I found a post on a random forum I frequented, and based on what the poster wrote I discovered that I actually knew this person, it was one of my friends at school! She wrote about a very sensitive personal problem. I was a bit unsure about how to proceed, but I figured out that the best thing I could do was to invite her out for a cup of tea and tell her that I found her post. That's exactly what I did, I felt it would have been hypocrisy if pretended that I didn't know about her problem. I offered my help and we had a good chat, so I don't regret confronting her.

On the other hand not all people out there on the internet wants to help you, even on a Christian place such as this. Don't get me wrong, I've occasionally met people on the internet who have befriended me and who obviously knows all about me by now, but generally I try to be careful what I write in places that are indexed by search engines.
