I'm glad to see you're back on staff. :)
Thanks! I'm in the Prophetic Ministry and Deliverance Ministry forums now.
How will your family be spending Thanksgiving?
We're going to my aunt's house near Gainesville. There'll be about 25 of us (5 generations), so we'll have a great time.

I love the smell of fresh cut flowers in a vase, don't you? :p
Depends on the flowers...

I love the smell of lilies. A lot of cut flowers don't smell that much to me though...

So... have you ever smashed Gregorian Chants and '80's rock together to see how it sounds?

18 and 36 kids seems like a lot. I hope you really enjoy 'parenting'? What do you find to be the most personally challenging and rewarding aspects of working with young souls?

What do you consider to be the most remarkable reflection in your recent family gathering in Gainesville?

No, but a friend did give me a CD that had techno/trance and opera blended together. It was surprisingly good.

I do enjoy parenting...
Most challenging-- just maintaining patience when the 30th child that day is throwing a tantrum.

Most rewarding-- seeing a child feel proud of themself because they learned a new skill.

What do you consider to be the most remarkable reflection in your recent family gathering in Gainesville?
I didn't do a lot of reflecting... it was a quick trip up and back, and since I took one of the kids from Everyday Blessings with me, I spent most of my "free time" watching him.

Best thing that happened, though, was I was able to borrow a family photo album with pics of several generations-- all the way back to my great-great-grandparents-- so that I could scan the photos to make copies.

I don't know that I've been afraid to ask a priest this...but what's your favorite Christmas memory? :p
Every Christmas when I was a kid, my parents always filled my brother and my stockings with lots of different kinds of fruit, nuts, and candy-- always including some of those soft, chewy Christmas mints that look kind of like a regular peppermint but with a Christmas tree in the middle. We always spent Christmas morning opening our presents and eating those mints. To this day, every time I see them in a store, it instantly brings back memories of my family sitting on the floor in our living room on Christmas morning.

I haven't come across those mints but it's great to hear you have something like them to always remind you of those mornings :). Do you still get to see your family for Christmas?

Did you make any New Year's resolutions? :)
Not this year.

Honestly, I was so busy between the church and the children's home that I didnt' even have time to think about it.

Do you regularly exercise? If so, what do you do?

huh... I wish I did. I have a gym membership but rarely find time to get by there.

When I do get to go, I really enjoy the yoga/pilates classes. I took gymnastics as a kid, so I'm still pretty flexible (usually more so than most in the class, even when I haven't been in 6 months). The stretching feels really good.

Do you really have 10 sons and 8 daughters?
I've had 18 foster children. I also manage a children's home with 36 children in residence and am in the process of adopting 2 boys.
