We're going to my aunt's house near Gainesville. There'll be about 25 of us (5 generations), so we'll have a great time. How will your family be spending Thanksgiving?
Depends on the flowers...I love the smell of fresh cut flowers in a vase, don't you?![]()
No, but a friend did give me a CD that had techno/trance and opera blended together. It was surprisingly good.So... have you ever smashed Gregorian Chants and '80's rock together to see how it sounds?
I do enjoy parenting...18 and 36 kids seems like a lot. I hope you really enjoy 'parenting'? What do you find to be the most personally challenging and rewarding aspects of working with young souls?
I didn't do a lot of reflecting... it was a quick trip up and back, and since I took one of the kids from Everyday Blessings with me, I spent most of my "free time" watching him. What do you consider to be the most remarkable reflection in your recent family gathering in Gainesville?
Every Christmas when I was a kid, my parents always filled my brother and my stockings with lots of different kinds of fruit, nuts, and candy-- always including some of those soft, chewy Christmas mints that look kind of like a regular peppermint but with a Christmas tree in the middle. We always spent Christmas morning opening our presents and eating those mints. To this day, every time I see them in a store, it instantly brings back memories of my family sitting on the floor in our living room on Christmas morning.I don't know that I've been afraid to ask a priest this...but what's your favorite Christmas memory?![]()
I haven't come across those mints but it's great to hear you have something like them to always remind you of those morningsEvery Christmas when I was a kid, my parents always filled my brother and my stockings with lots of different kinds of fruit, nuts, and candy-- always including some of those soft, chewy Christmas mints that look kind of like a regular peppermint but with a Christmas tree in the middle. We always spent Christmas morning opening our presents and eating those mints. Not this year.Did you make any New Year's resolutions?![]()

Depends on the day!How much alcohol do you drink?
I've had 18 foster children. I also manage a children's home with 36 children in residence and am in the process of adopting 2 boys.Do you really have 10 sons and 8 daughters?
