I appreciate how supportive and patient my husband is in my loneliness. I miss my family terribly. We live in another province and I cannot tell you how hard it is for me to leave my church, my family and friends. I cry every day. I am blissfully happy but at the same time, I'm so terribly lonesome for home. I'm in tears as I type this...but I know I need to force myself to get out and make new friends. It's just hard when you are new to a community and to a church.
My husband brought me home roses yesterday and spoils me rotten. He knows this is a hard adjustment for me.

That is super sweet. And difference provinces are hard, Canada feels huuuuge sometimes.

If I could, I'd give your man a high five!

I appreciate that my husband is a generous lover. Basically all I can think about right now is him tackling me when I get home tomorrow night... Lol

LOL

I love that this forum is comfortable enough with each other to say such things.

I also appreciate this about my wife and how giving she is (in this area and in all areas).

I appreciate how incredibly supportive my wife is, and how she's ready to roll with everything. She always brings a smile to my face when I think about her.

I appreciate how my husband can come home from work...he's very tired yet he took the towels off the line for me. He folded them and put them away without me even asking him.
I appreciate how he watched a chick flick with me (even though he fell asleep part way through) when he prefers action movies instead. :D

I appreciate my husband because when push comes to shove he helps me clean when I ask, even though dirt not only doesn't bother him, I'm seriously doubtful he can even see it. ^_^

We had a bunch of people over yesterday, and I couldn't have made it through without his help, not only in preparation, but while company was here..

I can't walk today, but I was able to have a nice dinner party for the first time in forever, and even in pain I can't stop smiling..

I just plain love my husband..

I appreciate my husband for so many things...today, we made our meal and cleaned up together. I had a little meltdown this afternoon, just missing family and he was just so patient with me. He didn't try to fix it but just hugged me. He's a smart cookie.

Is there such a thing as post-married blues? I'm so happy but sometimes I just miss home.

That's good on him - sometimes, you need to ride it out.

And I'd say so. It's two people taking their partially separate lives and merging it into one cohesive one - which is wonderful, but not always easy. There's a lot of emotions and changes. And in cases like yours (and others where one or both spouses are further from their families) it can feel very taxing - cause while all these changes are happening, its away from usual comforts and supports. It's something I've seen with a lot of my friends' marriages, and heck - with my anxiety, it's something that's hit me this last year (though it's not the place I miss, but the ease of access to friends and fam).

Hope this was helpful or encouraging new homie!

I appreciate how hard of a worker my husband is outside the home. He is dedicated to doing all he can for us, and that is awesome. :) I'm proud of him.

I appreciate how left brained my husband is. I'm very right brained, spontaneous, creative (he calls me chaotic good). I'm thankful I have him to do the research for me and to genuinely care about specs and details so I don't have to. In particular I really want a mac so I can do better editing with final cut Pro, and he's been doing a ton of research on mac price trends and when the next updates are coming out. Plus he knows like everything about computer specs so I can just sit back and trust him to find the best deal at the best time.

He's super generous with his time, not just for me, but for others, and he is pretty selfless. He is funny, and I'm grateful that we didn't just stay friends. (we were friends for a few years before dating. he told me he always had a crush on me) :blush1:
