The "what did you accomplish today" thread

Today was a good day. I went to work on time, hit a sale and got like three outfits for 3 dollars at a consignment store next door to my work!! Got b-day gifts for my best friend Heather, returned some movies and now I'm getting ready to make dinner for me and my boyfriend. I hope to workout this evening too. Thanks for all of your prayers! Without your encouragement and support and keeping my daily blog, this wouldn't be possible! God Bless You All!!

Sounds like you're doing great Imarie23! I find that posting on here daily what alll I have accomplished, does help me with my depression tremendously!! K also keep a daily blog that I just started. You'll have to check it out! God Bless you and you will be in my prayers!!

Hmm....Talked to my boyfriend on the phone for a little while. Then I went to traffic court and wasn't able to get my fine for my speeding ticket reduced (that's okay because I really was speeding!). Then I went by my old work and picked up my belongings. Next, headed to the library and picked up three inspiration books ("The Power of Positive Thinking" was one of them). Came home, ate ice cream and then went on a 45 minute run. Took a nice bath and now am relaxing!

PS It is encouraging that there are folks who are my age on here (MayContainNuts, TrinityGrace, and Lmarie23). I am going to a day program right now for my depression and most everyone there is 10 years older than me. I have had quite a few people ask me what someone as young as me is doing struggling with depression.

I take photos at work too and I love it! I am a writer for a local newspaper and get to take all the pics I want for my stories. It's so awesome! So what do you do at work?

I got up early today, started a birthday blessing bash for my best friend Heather (heatherwayno, as she is known on here), ate breakfast, worked out, did NOT go back to sleep even though I wanted to, went to work, did more at work than I had planned which is always good, took back a purse and sunglasses today at Fashion Bug and exchanged them for new ones.
Now I'm getting ready to leave work to drop off gifts to Heather. I hope she likes them.
I hope to catch up on dishes and sleep tonight!

Well aren't we lucky that we live near a beach?? hehe!! I live in the Appalacian mountains, 5 hours from the nearest beach (Ocean City, Md)!

I didn't have any feeling of panic in my belly. I also smiled. I think my medication is starting to work and I am thanking God that I am not feeling guilty any longer for taking it!!

The mountains are soo beautiful! I used to go camping in the Appalachian mountains all the time. I love the beach, too, though.

I woke up a little late. Went to my depression day program (tomorrow will be my last day....my boyfriend and I joke that it is summer camp!). Went to Barnes and Noble and wasted some time there. Came home and went for a run. Now am about to watch the movie signs with my roommate...

I had a little argument with my girlfriend. Then we settled it. Then we saw Nacho Libre together, and I must say it's a very funny movie.

Yesterday, I got up early, went to work, paid my car payment, then went to see my boyfriend's family for a cookout. It was so hot! It reached 100 degrees here in Maryland!

All in all, it was a very fun day
