The way God showed me

I was praying last night, and I caught an image of how God wants things I think. I seen two lovers desperate to be together. I seen them reaching for each other but God separated them. He was between them. And if they wanted to be together they had to get close to God. I seen them both so close to God, trying to be close to each other. Then I seen something else. When it was time, God no longer separated them. He stepped back, put His arms around them, and held them close together. He pressed them tight with each other and held them both. So then they held each other, and God was holding them too.

I think this is the way God wants our relationships to be. Where He is between us. It keeps us close to Him, and it keeps us close to each other, without going too far. And then God pulls us together. And holds us both together. It was a powerfull image. I hope one day to expiriance it.

Someone recently utilized the image of a triangle to symbolize a couple and their relationship with God, as well as one another. The closer they progressed toward the tip of the triangle (which represented God), the closer they came together.

Yeah thats a good picture... God is in love with us, and He wants our affection first and then afterward when we are happy with Him He says NOW I can TRUST you to love ME more than you spouse and He will let us meet and be togther :o) JOhn

looksgood, I was astounded to read this vision of yours! What wisdom therein! Heartily believing you will experience a meaningful love relationship such as you saw!! God gave you such a vivid image to fillllllllllll you and others too with hope! He certainly wants us singles to know He isn't withholding from us, but been preparing us and our spouses all along! Jesus, Love of all loves, knows the deeper we be in relationship with Him, all the more sweeter our marriages will be!

Thx humblebee. I thought it was powerfull myself. I mean I could see the 2 of them trying so hard to get to each other. But God was keeping them apart. They must have thought God didn't want them together. But then I seen how when they got so close to Him...He wraped His arms around them and brought them together.

And the embrase of the 3 was so tight nothing could break it. The 3 string cord is not easily broken.
