The Venting Thread

Not exactly a vent (or maybe it is), but I wanted to share something.

The unnamed account on Gab - I decided to quit looking earlier this week.

It wasn't adding value to my life. I was getting angry and mostly not doing anything productive about it. At times I wanted to create a Gab account so I could either witness to her about Jesus or tell her off in an ungodly way. I read enough of her posts to conclude that she was not interested in being a true Christian, she just distorted the Bible for some kind of personal gain (or maybe financial gain, not sure if that can be classified as personal gain).

I'm certain she has at least three mental disorders (compulsive liar, narcissism, and anti-social personality disorder). I finally realized something - how do I know that she is telling the truth about every single thing on her personal life? I have caught her contradicting herself multiple times.

And I also hated how she would act like she was a righteous person when she did something evil, then accused true Christians (or those that stood by any kind of truth) of obeying Satan when they did good things.

It was time to eliminate the junk.

Last week, my mom made a comment that made me mad.

I've been having trouble with my job. She accused me of wanting to be lazy and go on welfare. That was not even on my mind at all.

And I find it hypocritical because she has financially helped a particular relative for decades. I'm the bad guy because I want to quit my toxic job but you're always helping someone that you've trained to be dependent on you?

Feeling angry. I wish I could openly talk about it, but I don't think it's a good idea.

Some of the older generations hide how much help they actually got or gave.

Also,
I'd be lost w/out my parents, but also, I remember when I was job hunting my parents expected me to have work pretty much right away. & that's just not how it works, & it all got me very upset, you don't just apply to a job & get it, or even jobs & get it. It takes time sometimes & they didn't get that at all. Sadly, I think a lot of parents just think it s/b easy for their kids
