  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like Montana. I haven't seen enough of Wyoming to really have an opinion. Yellowstone is amazing though. Definitely something to see.

We've had mice make a home in the ceiling right above our bed and that is pretty much what they've been doing.
I was looking at my options and decided to try the ultrasonic pest repeller as I was not keen on the idea of climbing into the ceiling every day to reset traps and remove corpses, or using poison and then not being able to find their little rotting bodies. So far it seems to be working a treat.

Those li'l critters are hard to get rid of sometimes.....i have one somewhere in the back of my fridge makin ' noises, and even my cat can't get at it.....

Well I was at church today, talk about depressing, it seems we have four years to turn things around, and grow or else we are in deep doo-doo. The worst part the parish council president, and our priest seemed to be pretty much arguing for close to a hour over the same details, and points. I pray for our church because we are trying to be mission-minded, yet reaching out to bring people in, especially in a secular society like America is hard. I pray to GOD for guidance, and help in this area.

I found Italy and Ireland to have some unique bathroom situations. Several places there were multistall bathrooms for men and women together, but also had men's facilities in full view of the women. I once walked out and found men there before I realized it was for more than women. For a bit I thought I had gone into the wrong bathroom! Then I saw more women and realized it was one for everyone.

Interesting...

That is a awesome video, my friend owns two cats, one minute she loves them, the next she screaming at them, the funny part I swear they are talking back to her.

Anyways it may be a unpopular around here, and among Orthodox, many who adore cats, yet this video proves dog is man best friend

I'd say dogs are family and friends. Though you're right that dogs typically listen and cats tend to do whatever they want. Dogs are loyal to the end. Cats...yeah, staff sounds appropriate
