The cynicism that the electorate would be stupid enough to swallow this “if only Twitter hadn’t suppressed it!”, is depressing.

Actual emails aren't stored on a computer. They're in the servers of Google, Yahoo, etc. and are accessed by a computer. Therefore, an image of it as it appears on a computer is all that would be stored on a laptop.

Just so I know: Is the problem that twitter "surpressed" information or is the problem that twitter is SUPER POPULAR and well used and surpressed information?

I think the problem is a platform that was meant for casual conversations and dialogue....became an informal but widely used news source.

Combine that with algorithms that encourage outrage and a word limit that ensures no one will say anything intelligent and it's mainly a lot of hot stupid on stupid action.

There have been many frivolous and unsupported lawsuits submitted. Just because a lawsuit exists, it does not mean that there is any supporting evidence.

Many on this forum are claiming that Biden and the government went to these social media companies and forced them to suppress certain content. I am just asking people to provide evidence or links to articles that present the evidence. I'd be keen to know, and I'd be just as shocked as the rest of you if only I could see evidence supporting the claim.

The stuff that Elon has released, the stuff that Zuckerburg has said, none of it even hints of the government coercing them to shut down any content.
At the moment, the claim seems to be baseless. Yet again, just baseless drama coming from the far right drama club.

I thought the claim in this thread was that candidate Biden's team asked Twitter to remove nude pictures of his son posted without permission. Not sure where the government part comes from.

It is about the White House having connections with the largest social media company on earth and shaping what is allowed to be posted - having a role in banning thousands of political opponents and even the US's oldest publication - all to protect Joe.

There are multiple things that are claimed, but haven't been established as fact.

I'd accept seeing an official letter with official govt letterhead, with a signature from some high up in govt and addressed to one of these social media platforms. Telling them to remove articles about Hunter Biden.

That would be one thing, it would establish the govt made an official request.

Also I'd accept if the letter expressed consequences of non compliance, e.g If yo don't comply then legal action will be taken etc...

In lieu of a physical letter, an email will be sufficient as well. Do govt emails include stuff that indicates the email is sent in an official govt capacity? Something with FBI emblem if such to show it is official. But it must specifically say what it wants to be removed. e.g. Hunter Biden laptop messages.And must be signed in official capacity by a current govt employee.

Joe was not necessarily about to be elected. And at that point, Donald was President Donald. The FBI is also not the White House; President Donald was the White House.
