Nope. Not quite. If I wanted the answer you gave, I would have asked, Is the law still valid?
Again, in context of my question: which one?
I am going based on the fact that you implied that we should still try to keep the law, even though no one can.
I am going based on the fact that you implied that we should still try to keep the law, even though no one can.
So you are not trying to keep the whole law, you are just trying to keep a portion of it? Are you picking and choosing what portion of it you should and shouldn't keep? Isn't that smorgasborg religion? You did not say "the Law", you said "the WHOLE Law"
It must be invalid because if no one can keep the whole law, that would certainly mean that you are not attempting to be justified by it. (But I wonder if that (the desire to be under the law) is what is secretly in your heart, as it was with mine, even in days when I outwardly contended for salvation by grace through faith; which I continue to do now do with a belief in it that is more wholehearted).Your statement is invalid because as I said, NO ONE could keep the whole Law. Do you understand why?
According to the order of Melchizedec, not Levi (Hebrews 7:12 and context).Do you believe that Yeshua kept the WHOLE Law?

And the question is simple, and I will rephrase it: Why are you trying to keep the law? Is it because you love Jesus or is it because you are wanting to be justified by it?
If you are trying to be justified by it, Do you understand that scripture requires that you keep it all (the whole law) perfectly from conception into eternity in order to be justified that way (Galatians 3:10, James 2:10, Matthew 5:48)?
For the last time, the Sabbath was not invented at Sinai. "REMEMBER" means it was something that was in effect PRIOR to the statement. How can anyone argue that the Almighty created the Sabbath for Adam (man), hid it for centuries during the time of the patriarchs, and waited until 2,500 years after Creation week to reveal the Sabbath on Sinai? The Sabbath is alluded to just before the Exodus from Egypt even began and in the desert weeks BEFORE Sinai... Exodus 16
Yet Paul says the idea of "Holy days" or "days of religious observance" are optional for the Christian.
Okay, if you want to be contentious and not give an honest, straightforward answer to my question, this conversation is over.
You did not give me a straightforward answer to the question.
(And if it were possible and you attained to it, suddenly you would find yourself fallen from grace (Galatians 5:4).)
