I know there will be people twisting this, and radically misinterpreting what I'm saying so I will quickly quote Romans 6 to hold back the strawman.
Dead to Sin, Alive to God
1What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? 2By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? 3Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6We know that our old selfawas crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. 7For one who has died has been set freeb from sin. 8Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. 10For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. 13Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. 14For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
If anyone is Born Again by the will of God, Not the will of the flesh. They will understand that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, that it changes them and sanctifies them overtime.
Now that, any possible misinterpretation is out of the way.
Is there any possible danger with someone fully trusting Jesus Christ and giving 100% credit to God? Doing good works out of love and obedience, not out of fear or feeling of obligation but because they want to grow in their relationship with God, and they give 100% credit to God for their good works and trust that God is 100% doing the saving.
Is God on Judgement day really going to accuse them for fully trusting in him, even if they obeyed him out of pure love and not of obligation? The Idea that Jesus dying for our sins not being enough doesn't sound right at all, as no credit should be given to us as we are as Martin Luther says we are "Snow covered in dung" yea it sounds quite bad that we are "we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." quoted in Isaiah 64:6. Its the truth we are not good people according to God, and we are no where even close to his standards.
Now does that mean we are completely helpless and shouldn't even bother repenting of sin? Of course not, because when God saves us he doesn't leave us dead in our sins, we are given a new life we become a new. So we are able to choose good, and overtime be sanctified conforming to the image of God.
So is there any real fault to those who are fully trusting in God, while at the same time are regenerated and walking in obedience?
I cannot imagine even thinking of contributing in any part in God's redemption, as I am nothing without God, and can do nothing apart from him.
