When it comes to analogies a much more exact one comes over the rise of Antifa in the US. I have heard many progressives play that down, when much of Antifa's was just "breaking windows" and other vandalism. As one person on CFI once said "I do not equate breaking windows with violence", and that Antifa "is mostly harmless" I forget how they framed it but they parsed their statement that suggested when said it they were well aware of the confrontations between Antifa and journalists Andy Ngo where on multiple times they beat him up really really good where he had black eyes, blood on his face, and his face swelled up for days or weeks...


And of course those kind of statements were made just a few months before BLM and Antifa actually murdered a few Trump supporters on the street.

I detect no lie. The Democrats did say the riots were mostly peaceful, which was actually one of the biggest lies I've ever seen from a political party. They cost the country billions of dollars of damage and it's not even that many people in Antifa. They are a rotten bunch.

I did. Quite the propaganda piece. Comparing Kristallnaght to a legal search procedure? That’s disgusting. We are a nation of laws snd no one is above the law. Trump had ample opportunity to return the items he stole, he chose not to so they for a warrant snd went in snd retrieved them.

The FBI is not anti-Semitic, nor neo-Nazi. Politicians were arrested sometimes, from both parties. I remember when President Richard Nixon had to resign as he risked being impeached. His vice president Spirow Agnew was convicted of bribery and was given a suspended sentence. Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his top aide were arrested after the governor tried to sell a vacant senate seat.

Some months ago Trump supporters beat up police. They battered through the Capitol Building front door. Some of them chanted “Hang Pence.” They claimed the election was stolen. Over seven hundred were arrested.

During the Black Lives Matter protests there was arson and looting. People were killed. Hundreds were arrested there too. The protests spread to 2000 cities. Blacks complained about police killing them. They did not complain about the criminals who killed police. Blacks murder more people than Whites.

I don't go on many news channels because so many articles are about Trump bad. It is a constant drum of vitriol. I can't figure out what he did that is so terrible, besides mean tweets. Always, "we must stop Trump."
Now I wonder how far "they" will go to stop him? What options are left?
This has been going on for 6 years. Tiresome isn't the word...

What about jan 6th? Are we talking about the people that got locked up from 1 to many months and they never once even went in like the elderly couple that just went to hear Trump were on the grass never went in or near yet he got locked up for a month and was never once charged. We care about Justice right? Are we talking about the video of police allowing people to go in or police standing at the open door just talking as people walked in? Did we ask or even care about all the video of that day no one gets to see or the cops body cams? Or the few videos of a man telling people to GO IN over and over and how odd he has never been charged at all and what he did on video is a fed crime.

See this is whats really about justice law .. when those get tossed out over looked only because "Orange man bad". The hate for one man the law gets tossed out. Its like talking about Jan 6th and hearing left media and Washington say it was worse then 9/11 and the Civil war. That alone ......everyone should have said something. How many died 9/11 and the Civil War? Jan 6th was worse? But the point of this is what about 2020...shhhhh it never happened. Did we watch our now vice president 3 times in 2020 say its going to keep happening and should..she said even more. 500+ riots 20 cops killed 25 people killed 1000 cops hurt billions in dmg...and Jan 6th was worse? I can still see the video of two big black men picking up 2x4 going after and hitting a Asian looking woman. Well that really really hit home since my wife is Chinese. Man comes out maybe spouse and they go after him and NO ONE came to help. And Jan 6th was worse?

Trump said go up peacefully patriotically vs our now Vice Harris saying its going to keep happening and should. HOW in the world is that ok and no one is going after her? Justice I am sorry is blind. We hear no one is above the law yet we see it happening ever day. If I offended in any way .. I am sorry never meant to.

The article was more alarmist trash, and the author should be ashamed of himself for evoking such a serious event all in the name of partisan grievance-baiting.

Am I the only one here who tries to take to heart that our futures and ultimate concerns are not with any politician or party? I don't like Trump, but I don't like Biden either, just like I wasn't a big fan of either Obama or Bush. I guess it's a matter of degree, but I don't really see any of them as worthy of support, let alone the slavish level of defense and sometimes outright adulation that they are shown even here, on a website that carries "Christian" in its name.

Our father among the saints HH Pope St. Dioscorus was truly prescient when he said before his accusers at Chalcedon that his concern was for the faith, not for any one man. Granted, he was saying that regarding the accursed dog Eutyches, but it has wider applicability than just that situation.

One good thing
My brother is a democrat in Oregon. I have listened to semi-coherent rants about "Trump" based on CNN reporting for the last 6 years. Mention the name Trump to my brother and he foams at the mouth with media stoked rage.
My brother watched every episode of "Get Trump" show for the last 6 years.
A few days ago he called me. He said, "They gave that guy 7 years!"
After destroying Portland for an entire summer, everyone walked scot free but that man received 7years for January 6.
Brother finally changed his mind. He was shocked into sobriety.
He said this is headed for Rwanda.
It finally got bad enough to restore his sanity. IT is not a football game (rah rah team, go get those Republicans, take out Trump YAY) or television show about some foreign country. These are serious political events with historically dangerous and very ugly trajectories.
So another Republican voter.

You very clearly watched a different January 6th than the rest of the world did.

on us.

This is a lie...and insult to the many good men and women who work at the FBI and Justice Department.

Yesterday was a sad day for all of patriotic Americans, as our former independent federal law enforcement agencies, the FBI and the Justice Department, now officially both under the singular control of the Democrat Party, raided the home of former President Trump and confiscated all of his personal data, after a judge - hard to believe - gave the court orders to do so.

This really isn't about Donald Trump, but about the agencies under control of the administration and how they are used to attack political opponents.

Trump appointees are in charge at the FBI. And the IRS.

Keep in mind, that Biden also added 87 new posts in the IRS to keep an eye on us.

Trump gutted the IRS audit teams so that they lacked the resources to audit bigger returns. For the obvious reasons. Now, they can audit complicated returns on a more regular basis.

But yes, it appears that Trump did use the IRS to go after his enemies:
