Is there nothing to fear, when Jesus says to fear ?

Is there people not fearing, and making that mistake ?

Jesus has done it all ( to overcome this world) did Jesus then say we have nothing to do, or instead says, we are to overcome this worlds EVEN AS HE ALSO OVERCAME ?

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Then the sensible thing to do is to discuss and study deeper than ever before, how to diffuse the wrath of the Lamb, and the burning of the entire world in fire soon, this is old this way of course..

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
"The jailer, greatly concerned, approached the two, falling before them and pleading, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Paul and Silas replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved …” (Acts 16:30-31, NIV)."

Your belief about salvation determines whether you go to heaven or will burn in the lake of fire for all eternity.
Well, that’s not exactly true. Our beliefs may or may not be perfect, and presumably no one’s theology is 100% perfect. Our salvation depends on our obedience, obedience that stems from the love God has wrought in us. IOW, to the extent that the greatest commandments are really fulfilled in us, we’re saved. Only God can accomplish that righteousness in us. And the entranceway to God is faith.

Back to Galatians 4, if Ephesians 6 were part of the Law, then Ephesians 6 would have to have been included as a tutor resource to bring unbelievers to Christ. That is not the case, Ephesians 6 was given strictly to equip the saints.

Galatians 4:23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. 24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
Another point. John 1:17 contrasts Moses & Jesus. Both issued commands they received from God, but only one gave the Law. Jesus's commands are not Law.

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
— John 13:34

"Have you ever thought how serious this is?" The way I look at that is.. someone that knows not wonders or guesses but KNOWS Yeshua/Jesus Christ came in the flesh died for the worlds sin. They know this and then walk away.. that hurts that is serious. Yet whos "truth" is Christ holding man to right now? Yours or mine? See as He said if you were blind you would have no sin...you say you see your sin remains. Most are blind.

Forgive me but something GOD never uses is fear. We know fear can have a effect on others in making choices.. if your a parent.. hello you know lol. Not God. Everyone gets a choice..some how God makes sure they know that they know that they know He died for them loves them. So easy to be saved. For we will look out and no one will be able to count the number from every tribe and nation :) in heaven.

So for the one that knows and walks away..serious. yes.

Your belief about salvation determines whether you go to heaven or will burn in the lake of fire for all eternity. Have you ever thought how serious this is? It's not something you want to play around with. The Bible teaches that it would be even better for you to physically cut off your own limb than go to hell. I couldn't even imagine doing that. You say I'm saying things too repulsive for a Christian forum, no, it's the Bible that says it. It's like in a horror movie, except that the Bible is far more scarier than any horror movie ever produced in the history of film industry.

Heaven/Hell is a pretty serious subject and it feels crazy that people are just arguing about all these different teachings on salvation. It's like arguing which is the right way to dissemble a nuclear bomb except even more serious than that. The term "soteriology" makes it sound like salvation was some kind of scientific field of study or something, when in reality it should be as obvious as 1 + 1 = 2. People who have a wrong view on salvation are just as far from God and from heaven as any atheist or Hindu or a Muslim. That's the true story.

"And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:" - Mark 9:45
When evangelizing or teaching; 'listening' to people explain or express 'their' understanding of 'salvation' is very very important. Generally most christians speak of faith in Jesus, yet their definitions of faith and Jesus can sometimes veer and swerve all over the place. Sometimes their understanding seems simple and well enough, maybe even vague. But just as often their definitions and remarks are from the many 'different' schools of thought on salvation 'whether they know it or not'.

And sometimes their definitions, ideas and remarks are contraire, conflated, convoluted and some blatantly anti biblical. From the Garden of Eden people have been misled as to what God said - and as simple as the Gospel is to believe - it has been the advice of scripture to study, learn, discern, be aware, be warned, and warn others of false teaching. Scripture points out that people are easily fooled and deceived concerning Gods 'simple' truths.

That said, I believe God knows a persons heart and intent irregardless of some of our strange definitions and beliefs, and He can both save us and love us even so - for our own good and sanity, and for the sake of His Word and all the Gospel truths about faith, justification, salvation, and our Savior - the Truths about salvation' should be sought after, just as if we needed to diffuse a Nuclear bomb...

We are not saved by a belief about our salvation but by the grace of GOD thru faith in Him and His death and resurrection... It is GOD's work, not ours.

Its important to know what we believe, because its just as easy to believe in a lie, as to have 'faith in a lie'. Scripture says we are to 'believe' at least a hundred times. 'What' you believe - is what you have 'faith in'. In other words -

You have faith in what you believe.

For example; if you 'believe' you are saved by works, then you dont believe you are saved by grace. So it is - 'what' you believe effects your salvation.

Its not difficult - and its not simplistic - its both
