Where does Isaiah 40:22 say that the earth is a circle? It says that the Lords sits upon or above the circle of the earth. That doesn't mean "The earth is a circle", just in the same way as "the trunk of the elephant" doesn't mean that the elephant is a trunk, or "the engine of the car" doesn't mean that the car is an engine.

So are you claiming that the flights between Santiago and Sydney are somehow able to fly at nearly twice the speed they are actually capable of? That is the logical conclusion of the flight path Rob is suggesting. Odd that there is no mention of the beginning of his flight going up the West coast of South America, across Mexico and over the West coast of the USA. I would think that flying over land instead of ocean would be pretty obvious. Did he not bother to look out his window for the first few hours of his flight?

As regards his compass anomaly, I think that he would need to take his compass to different parts of the plane to check if there was any magnetic interference. It also wasn't clear from his video which direction he was pointing the compass. He claimed he had it pointing to the front of the plane but that cannot be confirmed by his video.

The last bit where Rob says to use a spirit level is where the video plunges into abject stupidity. A plane doesn't climb because the nose is pointing up, it climbs because the forward velocity is creating enough upward lift from the wings to exceed the affect of gravity on the mass of the plane. Haven't you noticed that the nose up the plane is "up" when it is landing? Why is it losing altitude if the nose is pointing up?

Level flight simply means maintaining the same altitude above the ground. It wouldn't make a difference whether the earth were flat or a globe, level flight would mean the same thing. Rob's claim that on a globe the plane should keep gaining altitude is brain dead nonsense. Just like the idiotic claim that if you fly due East at the equator and keep flying straight, that you will eventually end up at the mythical ice walls of Antarctica.

I'm highly skeptical, scienfitically-minded, and the type of person who simply needs concrete evidence in order to believe something is real.

The result of a globe earth, evolution, outer space, etc.. all connected to the deception of science. To cause people to see The Bible as a book of fairy tales.

So the result The Bible is an untrustworthy book, but science is completely trustworthy. Because they have successfully been able to present their deception as truth.

I must humbly apologise if I gave you the impression that I was twisting your words, as that certainly wasn't my intention. My point was not meant to be judgmental, but just saying that if you have no idea about why sunsets happen, to that extent, those bible verses which mention sunsets must be difficult or impossible for you to understand. But maybe I have misunderstood what you meant. Let me just assure you that I would never deliberately twist your words.

I agree, they can't prove nothing unless it's from a text text book & then they are all fairy tales, this is why I'm sticking with God and his word, at least this way we are guaranteed the truth.
