to assume the assumption you do while assuming the assumption you do is merely assuming .

what is really humorous .. is no other denomination replied . no one else has anything to justify in this regard .. interesting isn't it :)

well you got a point, but we take people by individual and not by denomination.

Lets drops the Baptist, Catholic, Word of Faith and other, if we call each other anything let it be brothers and sisters in Christ or unbelievers, wolves among the sheep, and false teachers. I think those about cover it all.

This has been debated, but I believe the seat of the devil spoken of in Rev is Europe. Based on its history i believe this to be true. What are your views. If you disagree that is fine but please provide where you think it is and why. thanks.

it is kind of crazy how people with an agenda (on both sides of the issue) try to turn your very innocent and interesting topic and twist it into some kind of Catholic VS. Protestant thing :(

many people through the ages, both Catholic and Protestant, saw the Anti-Christ Kingdom (New World Order or whatever you want to call it) as being a revitalized Roman Empire

some mystics believed that the Roman Empire would be brought back by a good King a generation before the Anti-Christ and then the Anti-Christ would pervert this good Kingdom

Something brings to mind 7 mountains and a great Harlet drunken on the blood of the Saints.

Go try to figure what that could be.

You guys are scaring me!

scaring you, your scared of love:D just kidding

Its the love train jump on board.

I can speculate to the harlot drinking on blood of saints. The harlot could be the world or city that puts Gods people to death. That is just what I feel in my heart. could be wrong, but if you never seek you never find:thumbsup:

and the Pope is an absolute monarch and the leader of the biggest religion on earth

Are you referring to Catholicism or Christianity? It is my personal belief that Catholicism isn't a religion but apart of Christianity which is the religion. I am genuinely interested by the way as to how Catholics see it. Not taking any shots.

Until I was 13ish I thought Catholicism was a religion, much like Christianity, Islam etc. I think it's important to refer to Catholics as Christians for impressionable children.

I was a little loose with the language, the Pope is the leader of the Roman Catholic Church which is the biggest religious group in the world

I was not saying that the Catholic Church is separate from Christianity (any more then any denomination or church is its own autonomous group)

Yep- Jesus, the Christ, Son of God, is the way, truth and life. I'm sure Catholics agree.:)

yep :)

well this discussion is about to take a turn in light of what the pope said there is no Adam and Eve and hell is a metaphor not a real place, see my thread pope the false prophet.

So it appears the false prophet spoken of in the Bible has shown himself and it is in fact the pope.

well i am wondering how to reply to that from within the rules of cf haha ..
now we are not allowed to call someone who claims to be "christian" .. " not Christian ".
so ... since the pope has not come here and posted on cf and claimed here on cf to be christian.. are we breaking the rules to say he is not ?
i leave that one hanging ..

we are not saying that all catholics are not christian ..as that would be an impossible claim to make .. one of my favorite catholics was madam Guyon ..hmm though she was chucked into a windowless dungeon cell for making a booklet teaching that you can pray directly to the lord JEsus and didnt need a priest .. go figure lol .

but it is not the first time i have" heard this claim" allegedly from Rome that it believes the book of Genesis is an allegory( which is unbelief )
nor is it the first time i have heard Rome declare that they believe "God" is our collective conscience and thats what constitutes GOD .. which is indirectly saying " WE are God"
-but of course that's blasphemy to say ..
which raises the issue of that seat you mentioned upon which sits one who has names of blasphemy written ...
mother of God ..- to me this is blasphemy
queen of heaven - to me this is blasphemy
a man other then the lord Jesus HIMSELF(ie the pope) being the mediator between man and God
- to me , this also is blasphemy ...
I will not reply directly to some, for their very signature is sin in its declaration that they have no faith in the ability of God to hear them, so they pray to an angel ... which is faithless and what is not of faith (in GOD ALONE)..is sin

I must agree, but I think this development of the pope is showing the end is very near. Waiting for him to start calling fire down from the sky.

Wasn't Moses a mediator between man and God? Or is that blasphemy?
