which is quite different from saying these practices are unnecessary or obsolete.
Isolating verses and applying your own context isn’t going to get either one of us anywhere.Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

If it is "parallel" to the ten commandments, why did Paul compel the Galatian believers to "cast out" the Sinai Covenant of "bondage" in Galatians 4:24-31?
Why are we not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 7:12?
Why did Paul compel the Colossian church not to judge others in sabbath days in Colossians 2:16-17?

Aaron's rod that budded was in the ark also. There was also a pot, I think I remember, that had some manna in it.Please explain to me the reason why God put the 10 commandments inside the ark of the testimony, but the BOOK OF THE COVENANT beside the ark?
Aaron's rod that budded was in the ark also. There was also a pot, I think I remember, that had some manna in it.
What was in the ark does not necessarily determine its importance.
Your walking through the shadows of the Old Testament, the Old Covenant, and not seeing the fulfillment in the New Testament.
The ark of the covenant is no more and nor is the book of the law, that was in the ark.
Not one letter of the law will pass until all things are fulfilled.
You forgot Hebrews 8:10 also included in the new covenant:
2 Corinthians 3:2-3 "Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart." Clearly doing a parallel of the tables of stone (10 commandments) being moved to the heart.
In verse 3, Paul uses the metaphor of a letter of commendation (verses 1 and 2) to lead into a discussion comparing the Old and New Covenants. When God made the Old Covenant with ancient Israel, Moses wrote the commandments, statutes, and judgments that God had given to him in a book with "ink" (Exodus 24:4). God wrote the Ten Commandments with His own finger on two tablets of stone (Exodus 31:18; 32:15-16). However, Paul points out, under the New Covenant, God has given us His Spirit, enabling us to keep His laws in their spiritual intent. He is now writing His Ten Commandments on our hearts (Hebrews 8:10)!
Hebrews 8:10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:" he is quoting Jeremiah's prophecy.
Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
Heb 8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—
Heb 8:9 NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DISREGARDED THEM, SAYS THE LORD.
Heb 8:10 FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MIND AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Heb 8:11 NONE OF THEM SHALL TEACH HIS NEIGHBOR, AND NONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.
Heb 8:12 FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Yes, I think they forgot that Jesus Christ was the temple and so is us...is Not about a physical building in which the ark is kept, but is about the spiritual temple in which God resides and we are that temple just as Jesus Christ was in which God lives in us by His Spirit..Aaron's rod that budded was in the ark also. Wrong set of commandments you have there.Ten Commandments now moved to the tables of the heart. 100% clear. Just like Sabbath was made for man. 100% clear. But people are like Pharisees changing the laws.
Oh yes, your correct.Yes, I think they forgot that Jesus Christ was the temple and so is us...is Not about a physical building in which the ark is kept, but is about the spiritual temple in which God resides and we are that temple just as Jesus Christ was in which God lives in us by His Spirit..
Wrong set of commandments you have there.
I am not like a Pharisee, I don't interpret the law for everyone. I do not change the laws.
Why do you ignore the most important commandments in the scripture?
1 John 2:3
By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
What commandments is John talking about?
1 John 3:23-24
This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him.
1 John 4:21
And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.
1 John 5:2
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments.
See how John in his letter warns you against not obeying the commandments. Then John spells out the commandments that Jesus gave.
New Covenant means a change in the law.
New High Priest means a change in the law.
A new and perfect sacrifice also means a change in the law.
A new creation instituted by Jesus means the old covenant has seen it's day.

What would an unbiased witness say upon reading the verse?
The word "circumcision" in not in the text.
Colossians 2:16
(CJB) So don't let anyone pass judgment on you in connection with eating and drinking, or in regard to a Jewish festival or Rosh-Hodesh or Shabbat.

(Geneva) Let no man therefore condemne you in meate and drinke, or in respect of an holy day, or of the newe moone, or of the Sabbath dayes,

(GW) Therefore, let no one judge you because of what you eat or drink or about the observance of annual holy days, New Moon Festivals, or weekly worship days.

Revelation 21:22...I did Not see a temple in the city (Holy City) because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are it's temple....Don't forget the ark of the covenant is also in heaven because it was there before Moses.
We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. ... There are priests ... who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, ‘See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain’ ” (Hebrews 8:1, 2, 4
Revelation 11:19 "Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple; and there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail." - sounds like something spectacular just like on mount Sinai...
Revelation 21:22...I did Not see a temple in the city (Holy City) because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are it's temple....
Context is key!
(CLV) Col 2:13
you also being dead to the offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He vivifies us together jointly with Him, dealing graciously with all our offenses,
(CLV) Col 2:14
erasing the handwriting of the decrees against us, which was hostile to us, and has taken it away out of the midst, nailing it to the cross,
(CLV) Col 2:15
stripping off the sovereignties and authorities, with boldness He makes a show of them, triumphing over them in it.
(CLV) Col 2:16
Let no one, then, be judging you in food or in drink or in the particulars of a festival, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths,
Are you saying there is one set of laws for Gentile Christians, and a different set of laws for Jewish Christians?
Yes, it’s about the New heaven and new earth Revelation 21:1 where the dwelling place of God (Holy City) is with His people...this where we all hope to be in one day...This is after the millennial reign where a temple is no longer needed since God and the Lamb are the temple which is part of the city. There's a temple in heaven beforehand and is a replica of the earthly one. You truly want to avoid the very straightforward verses seeing as you are trying to find something to avoid it. Just like the tables of stone now being placed on the tables of the heart. And the Sabbath was made for man.
Explain to me the prophecy of Isaiah 56:1-7 that the Gentiles will keep the Sabbath. AND will be able to approach God on his Holy mountain.
