As you chose not to answer my question I will leave it there
Your question has been answered in the scriptures provided. If you did not wish to discuss the scriptures provided you do not have to. They are God's WORD not mine.

It is important to remember, that sola scripturists are always selective with the letter of sola scripture they choose to accept. As the letter kills them as well as it does everyone else, that is testament to their failure to understand the message

You cannot have the Spirit of the letter without having the letter. The Spirit works through the letter in all those who BELIEVE and follow it. JOHN 6:63; JOHN 17:17

Last chance. Are you perfect in your flesh?

Your question was answered in post # 479. Where I responded with...

Nope I do not walk in the flesh *GALATIANS 5:16. If you are knowingly practicing SIN you need to be BORN again *1 JOHN 3:3-10; 1 JOHN 2:3-4. SIN (breaking any one of God's 10 Commandments) *JAMES 2:10-11 will keep all those who KNOWINGLY practice it out of God's KINGDOM *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because those who do so reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.

Now brother how does this not directly answer your question?

I have answered all of your questions yet you have not respnded to one of mine.

You see, when you ask a sola scripturist who insists you must have the letter if they are perfect in their flesh, you cannot get a straightforward, simple response(normally). Any believer who made the claim they are perfect in the flesh, has just lied, or was never born again in the first place. Yet at the same time they cannot bring themselves to admit they do fail to fully obey the letter. Hence only deflection is left. Best to move on, nothing to be gained by remaining here

Well that is not true brother. Your question was clearly answered when I stated Nope I do not walk in the flesh as shown in God's WORD *GALATIANS 5:16. We will always have the flesh and temptation to contend with until after the second coming. It does not mean we have to walk in it. The rest of the post show that those who continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT sin do not know God and need to be Born again.

If you are knowingly practicing SIN you need to be BORN again *1 JOHN 3:3-10; 1 JOHN 2:3-4. All I see is that apparently only the laws they don’t want to regard are abolished. The verses this person quotes don’t make any distinction between the mosaic law and the 10 commandments because it’s all still the same law. There was no distinction between the 10 commandments and the rest of the 603 laws by Jews. They were all regarded as the law.

Yes, it was one whole law

How many commandments are there in God's 10 Commandments, 9, 10 or 613 EXODUS 34:28; DEUTERONOMY 4:13; DEUTERONOMY 10:4?

The distintion of what laws are being discussed in the scriptures is in the CONTEXT of the scriptures and chapter. For example PAUL writes.

ROMANS 7:77, What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. No, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, You shall not covet.

What LAW do you think PAUL is discussing?

If you do not know what the OLD COVENANT is how can you understand what the NEW COVENANT is that the OLD COVENANT pointed to. You mix up your SHADOW laws from the MOSAIC BOOK of the COVENANT *EXODUS 24:7 with God's ETERNAL law (10 Commandments) that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTOUESNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172

If we have no knowledge of what sin is then we have no need of a Saviour to save us from our sins. If we have no Saviour then we have no salvation because we are still in our sins. If we are still in our sins then we are lost because the wages of sin is death to all those who reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23; HEBREWS 10:26-27.

God's 4th Commandment is one of the 10 commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of what SIN is. God's WORD says if we break ANY ONE of God's 10 Commandmnets we stand guilty before God of SIN. God's WORD also says ALL those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN do not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN because they have not been Born again to do so and they do not KNOW God *HEBREWS 10:26-27; HEBREWS 6:4-8; JOHN 3:3-7; 1 JOHN 3:3-10; 1 JOHN 2:3-4

There is not one sctripture in all of God's WORD that says God's 4th Commandment is ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to keep SUNDAY as a HOLY DAY.

Where does it say in God's WORD?

1. That God's 4th commandments 7th day Sabbath has been abolished?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

..............

HEBREWS 4:9 So then, it remains for the people of God to keep the Sabbath.

..............

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God? I know who I believe how about you *ROMANS 3:4; ACTS 5:29?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

God bless.

God bless.

Where does God command us to worship on the Sabbath?

We should worship God everyday. That has never been the issue with God's 4th commandment which is one of the 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what SIN is if broken *ROMANS 3:20. The issue is in what God has said in relation to God's 4th Commandment which reads...

EXODUS 20:8-11
[8], Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
[9], Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
[10], But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it THOU SHALT NOT DO ANY WORK, [KEEPING THE SABBATH AS A HOLY DAY OF REST MEANS NOT DOING ANY OF OUR WORK IN IT] thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
[11], For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT [Reference back to GENESIS 2:1-3].

GENESIS 2:1-3 shows that GOD BLESSED and set apart the SEVENTH DAY of the WEEK as a HOLY DAY of rest where NO WORK is to be done. God made the SABBATH for ALL mankind BEFORE SIN and the fall of mankind. JESUS is the LORD of the SABBATH *MARK 2:27-28 and has commanded his people to REMEMBER the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH as a HOLY DAY where NO WORK is to be done *EXODUS 20:8-11. God's 4th Commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTOUESNESS if broken *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172. If we KNOWINGLY break any one of God's 10 Commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN *JAMES 2:10-11 and are in danger of the judgment unless we seek JESUS in Confession and repentance. SIN (breaking any one of God's 10 commandmetns) will keep all those who KNOWINGLY CONTINUE in it out of God's KINGDOM *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27; JAMES 2:8-12)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Worshipping on Sunday shouldn’t have anything to do with breaking God’s 4th commandment. Does God forbid us to worship on Sunday?

No it didn’t help at all. I’m sorry but I don’t believe what you teach and I don’t want to waste anymore time trying to explain it to you. Have a blessed day.

You are wise in what you write hear. There is more than one type of Christianity. Some are proud, or in earnest we might say that they fully follow the letter of what is written. This is never the reality. It is rather a partial, selective following of the letter. So there is no such thing as fully following sola scripture in this regard. Unfortunately, the more in earnest you are about this, the further away you go from discovering the meat of Christianity, which is found by following after the Holy Spirit. You cannot do both. Following earnestly after the letter results in being crushed and giving up with your faith, or becoming hard nosed and hypocritical, for no one who does follow the letter can practice what they preach.
Hence, if you ask someone if they perfectly at all times follow the letter and are perfect in their flesh according to it, they cannot answer you. They may deflect by saying something like, they do not follow the flesh but the Spirit. If you then asked them if they always perfectly followed after the Spirit, without deviation, they would have to deflect again, and so it goes on. Not much point in discussion really.
Under the old covenant, they did not have the Holy Spirit as we do today, so they mostly tried to follow the letter of what was written. And that letter stated Saturday must be put aside as a sabbath. There is no command in the new testament for that. For a new covenant had come. Sadly, many refuse to accept it

He is calling all who have ears to hear and eyes to see. These are they that are blind and deaf. In times of ignorance God winks at but he is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The light shines in darkness; but the darkness does not understand it. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Light is come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that does truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Who can know the Word of God when there is no Word? If we know God's WORD we hear his Voice. If we do not KNOW him we cannot hear him unless we open the door to him that is knocking.

God's Sheep hear his Voce (the Word) and Follow him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another. Those that do not hear him do not know him neither do they hear his Voice and anothers voice they will hear and follow.

There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed come judgment day. Sadly for many at this time it will be too late because they did not trim their lamps or hear the voice of the bridgroom knocking at the door calling them to come to the wedding.

He is calling all who have ears to hear and eyes to see. These are they that are blind and deaf. In times of ignorance God winks at but he is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Do you always, without deviation walk in the Spirit/follow after the Holy Spirit and never once slip up and follow after the flesh/give in to the flesh?

Its OK, I know the response-deflection
