I see so your trying to argue now that the very words of Jesus and new testament scriptures are not the Word of God now? That is not what you believe now is it? But that is what your now trying to argue. Think it through. In the days of Jesus and the Apostles their bible was the old testament scriptures. Today we have both the old testament scriptures and the new testament scriptures and gospels that the old testament scripture pointed to in Christ the living Word of God who has today give us His written Words of God (all scripture).

There are many problems as we are growing in the faith and do not know Gods' Word. Paul sent them Gods' Word to help their problems and help them to grow in the faith. That is they were sent Gods' Word and if they believed and followed what Gods' Word says they would not have these same problems because they were sent scripture, inspired by God through Paul for correction, and instruction in righteousness according to 2 Timothy 3:15

But some things the Corinthians would have known even without scriptures.

Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious.

Some of those deeds of the flesh relate to divisions. 1 Corinthians opens by saying there are divisions among them. It was something they were still working on imo. Much like the body of Christ today, again imo.
