and the platypus
Do you really think this is going to convince anybody?
If you could produce an apple in your hand, it would be worth investigating. But you cannot, so the question is hypothetical, therefore the answers are also hypothetical.
So the answer to you question is I would explain it hypothetically, which is the same explanation religious people use to explain everything, and we know how often they got it right.
Yes --- you, for one. If I created an apple ex nihilo into the palm of your hand, and you went and told your friend I did this, and he didn't believe you --- you are the one who would know he was wrong.
He may not know it --- but you would.
You cannot prove creationism using evidence as there is no evidence...
I merely submit that the platypus is part of what Creationists rely on...Before I comment, are you putting forward the Platypus as evidence for creationism.
The problem with the analogy of the apple and comparing it to the world is you can't really give a lot of history to an apple. You can take the new ex-nihilo apple and put it next to one that has been growing, and the'd probably look quite similar.
The world is 4.6billion years old, and it has been around for 4.6billion years. We can tell this, because it has picked up 4.6 billion years worth of scars over this time.
If you were to tell me you had created a person ex-nihilio, I'd be very suspcious if he had an appendictomy scar. It's not to say you couldn't have created a post surgery human, but what would be the point? It just makes your audience suspcious.
You may not like it, but ou haven't addressed the point.
In hypothetical-world, the apple may be flawless. I can't really check a hypothetical apple can I?
In the real world, that we all live in now, the earth has 46 billion years of history. Until you can produce an analogy that works, we will keep rejecting it. You can dismiss those rejections with your cute little Fs, but you're only proving that you can't address the arguments.
He always avoids the arguments, particularly when he’s losing, which is almost all the time.Oh, I know, I've played this game before. I just though I'd spell it out to anyone watching, as you know Avet is going to claim that no one could answer his challenge.
Surly even someone with limited intellect can come up with a more simulating answer that F.

Off-track? The thread started miles out of the field to begin with.I have an excellent question for her post I'm dying to ask, but I am not going to participate in getting this thread off-track.
