1. The division was fixed so quickly(in comparison to today) because the Church of God was in it's infancy and each Christian Church of the time respected and Acknowledged the Apostles as the true and faithful ministers of the Lord. Today we do not have such a people, each group does not acknowledge one group of people in the same way as they did the Apostles. The Lord does indeed still Choose people to go and fix the division within the Church(world wide/spiritual Church) but none of the Denominations(Catholics, Orthodox, Lutheran, Baptist, Etc) accept these people as sent by God. The most that one can hope to achieve is to bring other individuals from each denomination to the truth.

2. Because each is called to God but they often times only remain with the doctrine they have already received without looking further for more enlightenment by God's word(being guided by his Spirit). That is how the Division persists.

3. God does not teach division and confusion. These things come only from the devil and the sinful nature of man.

In order for the Body of Christ to function more like a well oiled machine we must strip the "doctrines of men" and stick to the doctrines laid out by the foundation of the Apostles and where Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the chief corner stone. The purity of the Good News is so simple it seems to bore some so they add to it. Most if not all, in error.

I didn't say they were apostles. Just men Chosen by the Lord to bring his light into the world, and bring as many as possible out of the world.

They are individuals, not famous men and women. Most die in obscurity hated by most, never reaching many. They have pure doctrine that nobody wants to hear, because the truth can't be given away but someone will always purchase a lie.

They are preaching the Gospel truth. They are preaching the true and pure word of God that rests solely upon the foundation of the Apostles and Christ without any doctrines or traditions of men added. That is what they are telling the Churches.

I see much division over theology right here. I dont see how the same God can call teachers to teach one church Catholicism and another church Eastern Orthodox (Just for example). One or both of those churches are wrong. Surely all these denominations cant be teaching the truth. Is Ellen white and the Pope both teaching truth about the Lords day? How about EO and RCC, do they both teach the truth? How can both their teachers be right? Surely one or both are wrong again. Thats just a few examples. We can go further and show the same thing with other denominations.

Apparently, the perfect is not yet come (1 Corinthians 13:10).

Incidentally, one can easily gather the conflicts between the Apostles, even in the Bible. There were the Judaizers with Peter, versus Paul. There was the split between Mark and Paul. There was the debate over whether to prefer Paul or Apollos. The Apostles, even when they were working to reconcile a church did not always succeed, as in the churches listed in the Book of Revelation.

I don't know any continuationist who believes that all of these churches are called by God. Many are certainly not.

You've successfully established that division and confusion exists. What you haven't done is establish why it exists, nor how it pertains to continuationism. If you follow your line of thinking to it's logical end (to which I will not lead you), then you will find that you are attempting to swat the fly off of your nose by shooting yourself in the face.

The Apostles were already once and for all time given to us in the Bible, and they still address and speak to our problems in the scriptures that they wrote under divine inspiration!
We keep the unity the Holy Spirit Himself already produced with all of the redeemed, but that unity will revolve around "rightly dividing the Bible"

You've successfully established that division and confusion exists. What you haven't done is establish why it exists, nor how it pertains to continuationism.

continuationist cause the division as their false apostles give us fallible traditions of men instead of the unpolluted doctrine we were originally given. Their tradition is what is dividing the church.

Their claiming that God continues to send forth ongoing revelations and that they now have the "full Gospel" has caused chaos and division among the Body, as they see themselves as being the restore 'super church" of Acts now!

I agree with part of that.

I think Christianity is together on most of the important doctrine like Christ being God and man, Perfect, atoning for sin, that we water baptize, pray, and other main tenants of the faith.

I do think Christ has room for diversity in the Body of Christ.

They tried to fix it through letters or traveling. It was not all rainbows and sunshine though and many things they tried to let individual churches work out.

The apostles were the heavy hitters, like when it couldn’t be worked out internally.

There were times when even the apostles had to meet so they were on the same page. Paul and Peter were at odds for years before they got it together

It wasn’t perfect though.
