He stopped speaking for 400 years when the OT canon was completed. Why shouldn't he stop again when the NT canon was completed.

What God speaks doens't need to be something ominous or too much important can be a word of comfort to one of his childs, to encourage us.

I found the Holy spirit in a 'bad pentecostal' church, so if the Holy spirit is there something is being done right. Suit yourself now claiming is all lies or something.

You don't know what happened between so don't say he stopped speaking to people, to some or a lot of people he always spoke, and i don't think all that God speaks to people needs to become scriptures.

There were no prophets between Malachi and John the Baptist. Prophecy ceased at the completion of the OT canon, just as it ceased at the completion of the NT.

God doesn't need to raise a prophet to tell something to someone, like i said there was always godly people and God can speak to those, to for example comfort or encourage them, without that becoming scripture, that is not necessary always.

How did God speak new revelations to people in those 400 years if there were no prophets?

Maybe God didn't raise a prophet, but God can still reveal and tell something to people... and not necesarily that revelation becomes scripture. You say God doesn't speak at all, only through scripture, i disagree, God can tell things to people, has happened and will happen.

This is what was prophesied about the 400 years of silence.

Amos 8:11-12
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord God,
“when I will send a famine on the land—
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water,
but of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
and from north to east;
they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the Lord,
but they shall not find it.

There were no words of the Lord.

You are probably exaggerating there because God always had a remnant of his people who where faithful, and this not takes away, that God can speak even to the most 'insignificant' christian, like Jesus said, God has revealed this thing to childs, and hide them to the wise and powerful. And i'm trying to not imply anything about you or me here.

How can I be exaggerating? It says in the prophecy there were no words of the Lord. Remnant or no remnant.

Not nessacarily.. They used Old methods of casting the lot. Basicly they drew straws. and did so BEFORE they were baptised in the holy SPIRIT.
You are dead wrong. That is the best way of selecting through the will of God, not by elections according to a democratic method.
The apostles had already received the Holy Spirit:
John 20
22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them and *said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.

God can speak something to believers, even if for some time in the bible there were no prophecy, like a said he even can tell you where to find something that you lost if he wants, or reveal a spiritual problem, to pray about, or tell you about something he is going to do, to encourage you, keep your faith up, etc.
If the desert of israel was something that represent the christian life, then you see there that God did things, spoke, guide, etc. God is active and does things to people. Like guide, encourage with some word (not necesarily scripture always) etc. and specially treat with you, to become better.

No not wrong at all.. You really need to read all scripture in context with all scripture.

Yup he told them to recieve.
And then they did..
After his resurrection and ascension.

Because he said i must Go away..and Then...
I will send the Holy spirit..

Then he also told them to go and wait untill that occurred..
They selected matthias BEFORE that occured.
Im not saying thier selection was wrong.
Just they did the selection the old way of casting lots and before the day of Pentecost.

That is your misinterpretation. The Holy Spirit was sent on Pentecost for all(other disciples) to receive later with awesome power. Before that all the eleven apostles had received. You seem to negate the very words of Jesus in giving them the HS before that to fit in your own theory. There was nothing wrong with casting lots. As pointed out by Peter, without the filling up the vacant post of apostleship, there was no question of moving further in their ministry, nor sending the HS to further their work.

One does not need to "interpret"
What is plainly written .

Your play with ambiguities and distractions because like all cessationists.
There is Zero direct unambiguous scripture upon which to base your opinions.

I was probably the prime mover of Mark16v17 on this thread, and never once did I claim that we are commanded to drink poison or catch snakes. Nor to my knowledge has anyone else claimed such absurdities, except Cessationists who falsely put those words in our mouths.
Mark16v15And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16“He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 17“These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Preaching the Gospel is a command, and as demonstrated in all the previous missionary exploits, it was accompanied with the casting out demons. The apostles would therefore take this repeat instruction for granted.

The fundamental reason for casting demons out is also stated by Jesus.-
Matt12v28"But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

And the reverse must also be true, if we do not cast those demons out, the kingdom of darkness remains upon that person, whether he is a believer or not.

The references to serpents and poisons simply means that when you come across a serpent or eat something poisonous, do not fear because you can deal with it as surely as you've dealt with demons.

You can still have them there causing a lot of trouble, and not be possesed, and they need to be cast out.
They have NO power over a christian filled with the Holy Spirit, and walking in obedience to the scriptures!

No Apostle today in the same sense as the originals and paul, as they were inspired to give to us the faith once and for all delivered to the Saints, and there have been NO new revelations since Book of Revelation!
