It is not a myth. Women peak later than men, but it all depends on the individual. Most women experience an increase in libido during their late 20's to mid 30's .

Go for a young one and train her. By the time she's thirty, you will be smiling.

don't get me wrong, I prefer dating women around my age range, but most of the time she's like 5+ years younger than me. I believe that age doesn't always equate to maturity but I like intelligent, confident gals no matter what age (legal age of course).

For anyone who's ever dated an older woman, how did it make you feel? and would you do it again?

I'll start, at first it made me feel cheap... and.. probably not.

I've only dated within a few years of my age, so I don't think I am who you're looking for to answer this question. At the risk of hijacking this thread, did your experience as the younger in the relationship affect how you interact with women younger than you? I mean, do you take into consideration how you felt being a "boy toy" when dating younger women?

A "boy toy" may be fun for her to play with, but she will generally toss him aside when she finds a "real" (ie: older) man. Doesn't matter if the toy boy actually is a real man... a lot of it has to do with perception. Women want to feel mature for their age, not like a mom or an older sister to a the guy. This is accomplished more easily by dating older men. Also, older men tend to be more financially secure etc.

As far as sexual peaks are concerned, those are averages that include the 500 lb. guy sitting next to you, and the quiet thirty-ish church lady who took a long time to finally become comfortable with her own body. If you remain mentally and physically healthy, and you are comfortable with your sexuality, there shouldn't be a noticeable peak. The way I see it, people will have good days and bad days. Their libidos should look more like sine waves than sharply angled line graphs with big spikes at 18 (for men) and 30 (for women).

I dated a guy who was 10 years younger than I am and was actually embarassed by it. We would go out and I would feel like he was sitting there with his mom. Recenlty had another young guy hitting on my, it wasn't happening again.

Taylor's stepmom is 12 years older than her dad. He is 35 and has three grandchildren, a 29 year old step-daughter and two other grown step children. It just isn't right.
