Justification is a declaration, not a process. Jesus Christ Died on the the Cross to redeem his own.

Nothing was offered to man by Jesus at the Cross... he was made sin, and condemned for our very real redemption. The offer of the atoning work of the Son was made to the Father in order to atone for the sins of His people, and in doing so turn away the just wrath of the Father upon them.

The work of the Cross secured both our Justification and are sanctification:

Heb 10:6 in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.'" When he said above, "You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to the law), then he added, "Behold, I have come to do your will." He abolishes the first in order to establish the second. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,

He cleans and washes His church to present her blameless, holy and without blemish... Eph 5. He does that not us it is his responsibility.

1 Co 1:28God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

    In Him,

    Bill

Sanctification is not automatic. We enter into sanctification by the Believers Faith maintained exclusively in Christ (Who He Is) and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won (what He has done). This is called the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus - Romans 8:2. This allows the Holy Spirit to baptize the Believer into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, so that the life of Christ is manifested through the power of the Holy Spirit in the Believers life. Matthew 5:8, John 1:12, John 14:21, Romans 6:3-5, Galatians 2:20-21, 2 Corinthians 4:11

The Lord has given us everything we need regarding life and living - and we receive these great and Precious Promises THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM (what Christ did at the Cross). 2 Peter 1:1-4

Now I have a question. What was it that Christ did at the cross?

When Jesus went to the Cross He did not go for Himself. He did not need any part of the Cross. He had never sinned. He was Holy, spotless, and without sin. So He went their totally and completely for you and I, mankind and all of humanity. When He went to the Cross He was not assassinated and not executed. He was a sacrifice which God would except for payment for the terrible debt what man owned God but could not pay. That is why there is one solution for sin and that is the Cross of Christ. Psychology not only holds no answer whatsoever but it is harmful because it leads people away from the true source of victory which is Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. This nation and ever nation would see a complete turn around if the preachers would preach the Cross. And to preach Jesus without the Cross, it leaves you with another Jesus that is not the Jesus of the bible. The Cross is something people don't like. It goes against the flesh (Galatians 5:17). This message is a problem for Jews, and to other people it is nonsense (1 Corinthians 1:22-25).

There is no limit for what Jesus Christ did at the Cross of Calvary. (Christ can be followed only by the Believer looking to the Cross, understanding what it accomplished, and by that means alone [Rom. 6:3-5, 11, 14; 8:1-2, 11; 1 Cor. 1:17-18, 21, 23; 2:2; Gal. 6:14; Eph. 2:13-18; Col. 2:14-15]).

The true Power of the Cross: When Jesus was beaten, tormented, scourged, and nailed to the Cross, Blood poured from His back, head, hands, and feet; and He was also pierced in His side. Each place from which His Blood flowed is significant because it represents a unique aspect of our deliverance.

His back, which endured the stripes needed to bring about our healing...and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5)

His head, which bore the crown of thorns. The Blood that flowed from His head served as payment for our deliverance from every curse...When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, all of mankind was cursed (Genesis 3:17-18).

His hands, which were nailed to the Cross...When Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, he caused a curse to come upon all mankind, as well as the ground (Genesis 3:17, 18).

The hands are a symbol of our economic strength and capability (Genesis 43:12). God blesses the work of our hands (Deuteronomy 28:8-12, Deuteronomy 12:7, 8). The Blood that flowed from His hands signified our freedom from the curse of poverty. The blood flow also released the blessing of abundant life upon Believers.

His feet, which were nailed to the Cross...“I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Genesis 3:15).

God established a plan that would ultimately restore the dominion back to mankind. God said that a woman would give birth to a child that would defeat Satan. When Jesus was born, the prophecy was fulfilled. He was born from a woman, defeated Satan, and took the authority from him. Jesus made a way for us to have our sins forgiven and to have eternal life (Colossians 2:13-15, Hebrews 2:14, 15). Jesus returned our dominion and authority back to us (Luke 10:1-19). Jesus shed His precious Blood from His feet when He was Crucified, giving us dominion over Satan. As His feet were brutally nailed to the Cross, a prophetic Word from God was coming to pass. Jesus ultimately defeated Satan and took back the dominion God had given mankind in the Garden of Eden.

His side, which was pierced by a Roman soldier...Thousands of years ago, prophetic messages recorded in the Old Testament gave details of the crucifixion and how Jesus’ Blood would be shed (John 19:32-37).

The prophet Zechariah prophesied the “fountain” from which we would be cleansed (Zechariah 13:1). That fountain is referring to the Blood and Water that flowed from Jesus’ side. Exodus 12:46 prophesied that Jesus’ legs would not be broken during the Crucifixion.

The soldiers broke the legs of those who were being crucified to speed up their death.
However, Jesus had already died so there was no need to break His legs.
The Blood and Water that flowed from His side represent the cleansing of our sins.

What the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross is make a complete and full atonement for the sin of all those whose sins He bore. Since He did so all those for whom He made atonement must go free.

Your, or Creflo Dollar’s, ranting is puff designed to move the emotions and loosen the wallets of gullible people. If you are going to identify with the likes of that heretic then that would be very bad.

Go and learn who Christ is truly and what He did and for whom, then we can talk.

This is why we as followers of Christ must teach God's prescribe order of victory (Romans 8:2) with kindness and graciousness so we (Christians) don't enter into the sin of sectarianism; believing that if you are not associated with me, you are not saved, or else, at the best, a second-class Christian, as if there were such a thing (Luke 9:49-50). No effort is to be made to hinder anyone from attempting to do the Work of God even if they disagree.

If you,or anyone else, is teaching that victory is health and wealth then that heresy must be answered and shown to be heresy. It is the duty of all God’s preachers to protect the sheep.

Quoting or identifying with a false prophet such as Creflo Dollar places doubt on the person at best.

    For sure.

iLove, you also identified with John Eckhardt and Tony Evans in this post:
What does it mean to be double-minded?
These guys are also false prophets looking to make a buck (or several thousand bucks) off of naïve believers.

Well, he is going to have to answer to the Lord if he is a false prophet. In terms of the doctrine I have posted, I find know error - but is 100% correct. And that's the most important thing.

There are many words of King Solomon the Holy Spirit didn't allow in the bible. Why? Because it was of the flesh. If I have posted scripture error, please use the bible to correct it (book - chapter - and verse). Those who are spiritual use grace to correct.

I don't remember seeing this earlier but I did not say anything about law  But that brings up a question...Do you think that Paul was telling us to NOT do what Jesus says?

Most Christians are practicing Salvation by "Faith," and Sanctification by "self (lukewarm)?" The Righteousness of God is imputed to a person only on the basis of Faith in Christ, and what Christ has done at the Cross. Romans 4:5

If the Believer does not understand this, all scriptures become enticing words to the flesh, that will be attempted by the flesh to perform (Romans 8:2-3, 1 Cor. 2:4). The Believer now becomes a transgressor (Gal. 2:18). Under Grace, the Holy Spirit carries out the will of God in the Believer (Romans 8:2). Under the Law, the flesh (your own ability) carry's out the Law of God. Under Grace, the New Covenant, if Christ is a Law keeper, than I am a Law keeper because I am in Him (Romans 6:3-5, Gal. 2:20-21).

This is an excellent question. One of the biggest struggles of modern American Christianity is how to be a Christian for the other 167 hours of the week that don't involve one hour on Sunday morning. Over 1400 years ago, a monk named St. John Climacus wrote "The Ladder of Divine Ascent". While originally intended for an audience of monastics, it has very valuable advice for us today.

The Book "Thirty Steps to Heaven" by Vassilios Papavassiliou is an outstanding commentary on the original that gives the Christian a systematic way of evaluating your life to see how you are running the race in light of the scriptures above.

Thirty Steps to Heaven: The Ladder of Divine Ascent for All Walks of Life

Orthodox Way of Life: 30 Steps to Heaven

I can't recommend it enough for the serious Christian.
