No.
Resist statn and he fleas. :)
We submit to God by the Plan He has provided, which is the Cross. We resist the Devil by strictly looking to Christ, and what He has done for us at the Cross, where Satan was totally defeated (Colossians 2:14-15).

But the scripture says, "For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor." Galatians 2:18

In other words if I use my flesh (the law) and not the Spirit (grace) to accomplish sanctification I become a transgressor.
We should NEVER remove a sentense from a paragraph and teach a doctrine off it. Here is that verse in it's context: Gal 2:15-21.

If we cannot rely on the Word of God, which Jesus and Paul and all the other disciples instructed us to follow then we cannot accurately describe ourselves as followers of Christ.

If we do not walk in HIS ways, then we are children of disobedience and not followers of God at all.

Submit to God, resist Satan (by submitting to God) (IOW's in God's power and will and strength and ability) and he flees or leaves you...

God Bless!
Submitted to God means "going what He says".

We enter into sanctification by placing and maintaining our Faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., The Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus (Romans 8:2). The Holy Spirit only works exclusively between Jesus Christ and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won. This is the only way the Believer receives Grace. Anything and everything outside of Christ and Him Crucified is the law of sin and death. This is why Paul said, "We preach Christ Crucified." Why would he say that? Because that is the only answer and solution for sin.

There are two kinds of peace with God the Father:

1. Justifying Peace - This is Peace with God, a legal standing (Romans 5:1, 8:7; Ephesians 2:14-15).

2. Sanctifying Peace - This is the Peace of God in the heart (Romans 8:6, 14:19, 15:13; Galatians 1:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:23).

The first is the result of a legal standing. The second is the result of the Work of the Holy Spirit. The first is static, never fluctuates, the second changes almost from hour to hour. The first, every Christian has, the second, every Christian may have.

Sanctifying peace allows the Holy Spirit to deliver the Believer into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, so that the life of Christ is manifested and lived through the Believer by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is a living sacrifice that is pleasing and acceptable to God (Matthew 5:8; John 14:21; Romans 8:2, 13; 2 Corinthians 4:11; Galatians 2:20-21).

Very - Very Important: If any Believer try's to do what the scripture says do in their own will-power, strength, and ability, the sin nature that was made dormant (not eliminated) when you where born-again, will be activated (the works of the flesh will manifest - Galatians 5:19-21). The Law says do - Grace says done. This is why I stated only the Holy Spirit can do what the scriptures ask of us and keep all commandments through Faith in Christ and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won.

Many Believers believe they can do what the scriptures ask of us in our own strength, ability, and will-power. This is reverting back to the “LAW.”

“18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed (revert back to the Law), I make myself a transgressor. (To revert to any type of Law is a departure from God’s Prescribed Order of Victory [the Cross], and is sin).” Galatians 2:18
The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14). "In Justification, the Lord fights 'for' us, and in Sanctification, He fights 'in' us."

SANCTIFYING PEACE = The LORD's REST / ONLY A FEW FIND IT (Matthew 7:13-14, Hebrews 4)

Sanctification, "in us and with us and through and out from within us, to affect that that is without, from the inside outward to affect that that is without", or on the "outside", or the flesh the world and/or the devil or something, almost all of that is without, except the "people" and maybe "life", or things that are alive...

Justification happens at the moment when one is converted, or born again, saved, ect...

Justification does not happen during the process of Sanctification but at the beginning of it, along with absolution, salvation, and many other things, (1) all happen at the moment one makes a commitment to God and puts their faith and hope and trust in Him, most everything happens then...

But, we continue in being "sanctified" daily sometimes, and I like to describe all that follows after what I just said (1) is about, or is like "icing on the cake", so to speak, in terms of Heaven of whatever, and maybe this life sometimes also sometimes...

Sanctification has to do with "blessings only" and there is "no curse" and no more curse, after you turn to Him and make a commitment to Him, and put your faith and hope and trust in Him, ect... what I just said about being born again of faith, or converted, or whatever, ect... Truly become one of His, ect...

God Bless!

Now does "Redemption" happen at the beginning of the process of Sanctification...? Or in the moment that you are justified by faith)...? or "afterward"...? Or somewhere in between, or what...?

Your Salvation is a gift from God. You simply have to believe and accept that the Lord Jesus Christ died on Calvary to pay the price for your redemption.

The Scripture says: “For by Grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God; not of works lest any man should boast" (Eph. 2:8-9)

Example: How do I keep Jesus commandments so that the life of Christ is manifest through the power of the Holy Spirit in me? How do I get a pure heart to see God manifest His life through me? How do I deny myself and pick up my cross and follow Jesus?

1. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and [a]manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21

Having read some of your posts I have come to the conclusion that you are close but not quite there yet. Faith isn’t in the work of. Christ but in the Person of Christ. Many have faith in His work but do not have a clue about who He is. His work is pointless if it isn’t the Christ of the Bible who has done it.

1 John 3:23-24 (KJV) 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

There are only two commandments: believe on His name and love one another.

Sanctification is an act of God in us and for us and is not a process. It is being born of God, a new creation, a new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 (KJV) 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (KJV) 17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Ephesians 4:24 (KJV) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

1 John 3:9 (KJV) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Good Day, Ilove

You are confusing Justification with Sanctification... Gal 2 is about Justification.

But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? May it never be!“For if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I prove myself to be a transgressor.

Be careful not to become a self sanctifier, you will fail which ever instrument you choose.

Justification is something said about you, Sanctification is something done to you.

Justification is a Legal Work

Justification is the process that God uses to be able to have a relationship with fallen humanity. Justification is God's legal decree of man's innocence. He doesn't look at us as though we were guilty and then forgiven, He looks at us as perfect. Jesus died on Calvary to make justification available to mankind. When the believing sinner places his or her faith in who Jesus Christ is and what Jesus’ death on Calvary accomplished for them, God then imputes the righteousness of Christ, His righteous sinless life, into their spiritual account. By this legal means alone man is granted relationship with God. Since no single action can provide for one’s salvation then it must also be true that no single action can cause one to lose that salvation. Since salvation is a legal work offered by God to those who will believe, then the only way to lose this precious gift is to stop believing. No matter how good or bad your day has been, if at days end you still believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sin and rose again, then you win! You win!

Romans 3:28 - Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Understand Justification by Faith - Romans 3:23

This is why we must understand what justification is and why it is the first subject in the book of Romans. It lays down the foundation as I go through sanctification.

Justification gives me the ability to get back up from every failure no matter how many times and stand up and go through this process and learn it. Justification gives us a legal standing with God that is not cancelled because of the acts of sin. So if I fail at this same thing a thousand times, God forbid, I remain justified by faith (Romans 3:23); For I have kept the ways of the Lord (2 Samuel 22:22; Psalm 18:21; Romans 8:2). Remember, Jesus said, "I did not come to condemn (John 3:17)."

Justification is not what we do, and not what I am, and not what I worked for. It is what Jesus did and my faith in it that gives me the standing with God that I need to carry on my Christian experience. Sometime I do it well, and sometimes I do it not so well, but his justifying Grace will not fail unless my faith fails. It is just if I have never sinned and just if I have always obeyed (Romans 8:1; Romans 8:2).

Justification by faith is when God has declared the standing of a Believer innocent and perfect because you have been baptize in Christ the moment you were saved. Sanctification by faith which is the Believers present state, which is a lifetime process.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1 ; Hebrews 10:38 ; Hab. 2:4 NLT

Two kinds of peace
1. Justifying Peace - This is Peace with God, a legal standing. Rom. 8:7; Eph. 2:14-15
2. Sanctifying Peace - This is the Peace of God in the heart. Rom. 8:6; 14:19; 15:13; Gal. 1:3

The first is the result of a legal standing. The second is the result of the Work of the Holy Spirit. The first is static, never fluctuates, the second changes almost from hour to hour. The first, every Christian has, the second, every Christian may have.

The Christian is doomed to failure if he thinks he can face the sin business and simply say yes or no. That's not the way it works. Those who try that (and almost all have) will conclude by failing every time. You may win for awhile, but after awhile, you're going to fail.

Now, stop and think about this for a moment: If it were possible for us to defeat sin and the attacks of Satan by willpower, then Jesus would not have had to come down here and die on a Cross. He could have merely taught us how to function within our willpower, and that would have solved the problem.

However, He didn't do that, did He? The truth is, the problem of sin is so deadly that it took the Cross to defeat this monster, and even then, we have to have the help of the Holy Spirit to get this thing done. That's why Paul said, "But if the Spirit (Holy Spirit) of Him (God the Father) who raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He who raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit who dwells in you" (Rom. 8:11).

This tells us that sin is so powerful that it takes the same power to overcome this thing as it did to raise Jesus from the dead, which, of course, is the power of the Holy Spirit. Understanding that, we should come to the conclusion that our personal willpower is totally inadequate.

However, most Christians little understand the victory of the Cross and try to do this thing on their own, which always results in failure.

The majority of Christians know nothing about the Cross of Christ for sanctification. Justification delivers us from the penalty of sin, while sanctification delivers us from the power of sin. The Cross of Christ is as necessary for sanctification as it is for salvation (1 Cor. 1:18).

If you get Jesus wrong, it does not matter what you get right!
