I'm not forgetting anything.

70AD has nothing to do with anything. Nothing!

Jesus Christ will come and appear to all a SECOND TIME at the end of the age on the last day of this age.

All the dead in Christ, and all those who are His will all be physically resurrected from the dead, as Jesus is our example of what this means.

Then after the dead in Christ are caught up in the air with Him, those who are alive and remain will also be caught TOGETHER with the resurrected ones and physically be with Jesus as He is making His descent to the mount of Olives. Zechariah 14.

eans precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Saying the resurrection is past in 2015 or AD 60 is Heresy.

Every eye will see Him... When He comes.

28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Hebrews 9:28

All the discussions of Greek words and lexicon gymnastics won't change the meaning of "a second time".

That is why we call His return to earth, when He comes to gather all His people at the resurrection of the dead in Christ, the Second Coming.

No, too many churches and denominations have too little faith in the plain words of Christ, that they take the apocalyptical language way too literally.

How do you answer to these two verses speaking about Jesus and his first coming?

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:2

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world (age - aion #165) hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself Hebrews 9:26

So, essentially, the 1st century is called the generation that is the last days and the end of the age.

Are you saying we have been living in the last days and the end of the age for the last 2,000 years?

Have you even looked at Daniel 12:

verse 1

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Here is the destruction of Jerusalem and the names found written in the book of Life.

verse 2

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Here is the Resurrection.

verse 6

How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

The angel asks when will the destruction of Jerusalem, the books of Life opened, and the Resurrection occur?

verse 7

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

The other angel swears by God that it is when the power of the holy people are scattered, ALL these things shall be finished. Please note how similar this verse is to Matthew 23:36; Matthew 24:34; Luke 21:22; Luke 21:32.

verse 8

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

What shall be the END of these things?

verses 9-13

the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

The END of these things. What things? The destruction of Jerusalem, the books of Life, the Resurrection, and scattering of the holy people will occur during the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away and the abomination of desolation at the time of the END. The END of the AGE.

The Resurrection and book of Life will occur when the power of the holy people are scattered. Who are those holy people, is it Old Covenant Israel or is it the New Covenant Church?

Not even close.

This age is clearly defined by Jesus in Luke.

34 And Jesus answered and said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage.
35
But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage;

36 nor can they die anymore,
for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Luke 20:34-36

...those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; nor can they die anymore,

As long as people marry and they can physically die, then it is still THIS AGE.

You are pulling this passage out of context by only partially posting it.

The resurrection from the dead, is just that, it occurs upon our deaths and we enter the kingdom of God.

There are no marriages in heaven.

This age, that began with Adam will continue until His Coming, as He will come a second time at the resurrection of all His people.

On the last Day.

The Last Day was the destruction of the Old Covenant economy in A.D. 70.

Look you say believe there will be a coming age, the dissolution of the current Heavens and Earth, and every one will be resurrected immortal and there will be no marriages on the New Heaven and New Earth. But check this out:

Isaiah 65:17

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Then why does it say after God creates a New Heaven and Earth in verse 20 of the same chapter, that there will be infants, there will be old men, there will be aging, there will be sinners, and there will be death.

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days (aging and death): for the child shall die an hundred years old (aging and death); but the sinner (sin) being an hundred years old shall be accursed (aging and death).

Are you saying these children are born out of wedlock? Afterall, this is the new order under the New Heavens and New Earth. But wait it doesn't end there, look at verses 23 & 24:

for they are the seed (reproduction) of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring (birth and descendents) with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Why does it say in verses 23-24, it mentions the seed and it mentions offspring will both play roles in the New Heaven and New Earth. But didn't Jesus according to you say we were immortal and there will be no marriages?

And I can also apply this to Isaiah 66 in verse 22:

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

What gives JLB777? Is the New Heavens and New Earth covenantal? Or is the New Heavens and New Earth material?

What about these two New Testament passages JLB777?

Jesus states there still will be sin in the age to come:

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew 12:32

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Revelation 22:14-15

Sin still exists in the age to come, the New Heavens and New Earth!

Sorry, that just nonsense.

Man made nonsense to prop up man made doctrines.

Please refer to the truth about this age and the next age.

If people can still die, then it is still this age, which began with Adam.

The end will come with the return of Jesus Christ, and the resurrection of the dead.

20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.
24
Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 1 Corinthians 15:20-24

No, it is this same doubt the Pharisees had for Jesus in the 1st century because they would a physical kingdom that could be observed.

You have totally ignored every verse I have presented you Isaiah 65:17,20,23-24.

Isaiah 66:22,24

Revelation 21:1,27,22:2,15

And what about these verses from Hebrews that speak about Jesus' first coming and appearance, which is also spoken as the end of the age and the last days.

Hath IN THESE LAST DAYS spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:2

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now ONCE in the END of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Hebrews 9:26

Christ taught the disciples during the last days.

Christ appeared once in the end of the world when he died for our sins.

The Resurrection and book of Life will occur when the power of the holy people are scattered. Who are those holy people, is it Old Covenant Israel or is it the New Covenant Church?

The New Covenant Church.

Those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17

1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
7
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him...
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. Revelation 12:1-9,13-14

17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17

Compare the time frame of the Great Tribulation from Daniel 12 and Revelation 12, which is 3 1/2 years.

1260 days, time, times, and a half a time, are all references to the same time frame.

Compare with Daniel 12 -

1 "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
4
"But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.
6And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?"
7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.
8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?"
9 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10
Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
11And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."
Daniel 12:1-13

...for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. Daniel 12:7

But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. Revelation 12:14

Jesus never taught his second coming would be physically visible.

Look at how many times the word "horao" is used in the New Testament to describe "see", "seen", or "appear". In other words, there is not a single verse in the New Testament where Jesus said his return would be a visible event. It would be an event perceived or discerned by the Jewish people to be a judgement of God upon them. I have ten verses below that if clicked upon will take the reader to a Greek Interlinear link whereby they can click again on every Greek word that means "see", "seen", "appear", etc in these texts will lead them to "horao" which is Strong's number 3708.

Roman-Jewish War of A.D. 66-73
Sequence of Events

A.D. 66

MAY - The Roman Procurator Florus demands 17 talents from the Jewish Temple treasury. This is the triggering insult for the Jews to begin their revolt.

• The Roman garrison in Jerusalem is overrun by rebels, who take control of the city. The rebels cause cessation of all sacrifices to the Roman Emperor, thus challenging Rome head-on.

• Florus cannot handle the situation, so the (Roman) Syrian Governor, Cestius Gallus, is called in to subdue the rebellion. He attacks Jerusalem, gets up to the walls of the Temple, then unexpectedly withdraws, suffering heavy losses in retreat.

• In the lull between his retreat and the next Roman attacks, Jerusalem is fortified by the Zealots.

• The Christian community in Jerusalem flees the country, to Pella in Decapolis.

A.D. 67

FEBRUARY – The Roman Emperor Nero sends his general. Vespasian, to Judea to subdue the rebellion. Now the rebellion is no longer a regional difficulty, but a serious conflict for the Roman Empire. This formal dispatching of Nero’s army to Judea is the official beginning of the War against the Jews. It was the event that marked the legal commencement of hostilities beyond a regional police action.

• Vespasian and his son Titus attack the lands of Judea.

OCTOBER - All of Galilee is subdued.

A.D. 68

• During the spring, the invasion continues, with the Roman army slowly driving south toward Jerusalem.

JUNE – The Roman Emperor Nero commits suicide.

• Vespasian suspends operations in Judea temporarily, waiting for word of events in Rome.

• Three emperors take the throne in Rome in quick succession, during this unsettled period. The first is Galba.

A.D. 69

JANUARY 15 – Galba is murdered in Rome by Otho who proclaims himself emperor.

APRIL 15 – Otho commits suicide and his rival, Vitellius becomes emperor.

JUNE – Vespasian resumes operations in Judea. Then Vespasian is proclaimed princeps. He transfers command of the Jewish war to his son Titus and heads for Rome.

JULY – Vespasian is proclaimed emperor by the army.

DECEMBER 20 – Vitellius is beheaded in Rome and Vespasian is installed as emperor there.

A.D. 70

• In the spring, Titus reaches Jerusalem.

MAY – The Roman army breaches the 1st and 2nd walls of Jerusalem. Mass executions of escapees begin – up to 500 crucifixions per day outside the city. Titus has a “circumvallatio” or earthen berm wall built to completely enclose the city for the siege. Famine begins within Jerusalem.

JUNE/JULY – On the 17th of Tamuz the Tower of Antonia is destroyed by the Romans, who are breaching the city’s defenses as the famine takes its toll. The Romans are shocked at the conditions inside the city, including cannibalism.

AUGUST – The Romans take the Temple and the city. The Temple of Herod is entered and set afire by a reckless Roman torch and is destroyed. The Jewish sacrifices, “the Daily Sacrifice,” cease forever. The Romans set up their ensigns and standards against the Temple and worship them and their general, Titus.

A.D. 71

• Triumphal procession held in Rome for Titus and Vespasian celebrating the victory.

A.D.72

• Various “mopping up” battles carried out throughout Judea to round up the last of the rebellious Zealots and their followers.

A.D. 73

APRIL 15 – The last of the rebelling enclaves falls to the Romans when the mountain fortress of Masada is taken after a long siege. This represents the final official act of the Jewish War.

• In all seven years of war, over one million Jews were killed and nearly one hundred thousand were taken into captivity.

From the official, legal beginning of the war in February of A.D. 67, To the destruction of the temple of Herod in Jerusalem in August of AD. 70, is a period of three and one half years. This is the period of time referred to in many prophecies in the Bible for the prophesie destruction of the Jewish state (see Daniel 12. Revelation 11 & 12). The entire seven years of the war corresponds precisely with the prophetic final “one week” of Daniel 9:27, with the destruction of the temple occurring just in the middle of the time (3 1/2 years in) as prophesied:

“…and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined wrath shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth:
and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
They shall perish, but thou shalt endure:
yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment;
as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
but thou art the same,
and thy years shall have no end.
The children of thy servants shall continue,

and their seed shall be established before thee.

Psalm 102:25-28

And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions:
and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids
in those days will I pour out my spirit.
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth,
blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

The sun shall be turned into darkness,
and the moon into blood,
before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered:

for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance,
as the Lord hath said,
and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

Joel 2:28-32

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: and on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: and I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: and it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 2:16-21

I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the Lord.
I will consume man and beast;
I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea,
and the stumblingblocks with the wicked;
and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the Lord.
I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah,
and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place,
and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them
in the day of the Lord’s wrath;
but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy:
for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord,
until the day that I rise up to the prey:
for my determination is to gather the nations,
that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation,
even all my fierce anger:
for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy

the residue of my people shall spoil them,
and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

Jesus never taught his second coming would be physically visible.

29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31
And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

... they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

...they will see the Son of Man.

7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7

You must have some special bible where these verse's are deleted.

Please refer to the truth about this age and the next age.

34 And Jesus answered and said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage.
35 But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage;
36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Luke 20:34-36
