It's a funny line that, I didn't know the meaning of it until you said about being kissed by God. It makes perfect sense! I was thinking of putting it in my sig at one stage. Another good part of the song is at 4.07 when he singsMary of Bethany said:Oh, and one more thing. I think my favorite line from the whole CD is from "Yahweh".
"Take this mouth, so quick to criticise. Take this mouth, give it a kiss."
It wasn't at all what I expected to hear, and it made me laugh. But it's so perfect, because we all need to be kissed by God!

I don't either.Bono, Edge and Adam have given their thoughts on every track of the album on U2.com, but theres $40 subscription fee. And theres no way I'm subscribing to that after whats been going on.Mary of Bethany said:I have no clue what "Fast Cars" is about, though.
Yes. It's one of my favourite songs off the album too. And The Unforgettable Fire is a masterpiece, I'm about to put it on. Luckly I have one of those Original master recordings of the album.WhenFinallySetFree777 said:My favorite song on HTDAAB is City of Blinding Lights. Kind of reminds me of The Unforgettable Fire.
Darn. I hope you get it back from your friend, I've loaned out plenty of things and never had them returned.Macewindu77815 said:Unforunatly not. And I didn't get it back either because that class got cancelled, stupid snow!

Neenie said:Btw I have been listening to "All i want is you" non stop (my favorite at the moment)
The whole song is brilliantThe Bad Templar said:The string arrangement at the end of 'All I Want Is You' is brilliant. Memorable clip too.
Probably the best finish to a U2 album ahead of 'Yahweh'.
Rattle and Hum is an awesome album! Though POPmart is my favorite for live stuff, If you ever decide to get a video concert get "live from mexico city". During popmart most of their old songs were reconstructed and have a different sound and feeling to them.Macewindu77815 said:Nope I don't have any live stuff, I will probably buy rattle and hum eventually..But my fave song at the moment is WIth Or Without You, I was really enjoying The Sweetest Thing(single mix) until I lent my best fo the 80's...

Hey Templar! At least you went to sydney zootv. The Bad Templar said:I wasn't a fan of the Pop album but I love the Popmart video...it's a shame I never got to see the show live.
I like the re-jigged guitar and piano sounds on I Will Follow and New Year's Day, but I'm afraid I'm a purest when it comes to Streets.
hehe, thats how I've been looking at alot of things lately.Macewindu77815 said:I'll look into that when I have a few more bucks...
