I found an unexpected treat at my online library site--the autobiography of Michael Moore. He started at the point where he won an Oscar for "Bowling for Columbine", went up to "Fahrenheit 911" and then back to his infancy and early childhood (that's where I am right now.)

He had to hire 9 Navy Seals to guard him and his family because of his films--he virtually lost all his privacy and his life...

(Hopefully things will improve at the end.)

He said that he had a stillborn brother before he was born. His mother went to Canada to the St. Anne de Beaupre Shrine so that she could conceive again. She climbed up 28 stairs on her knees. He was born less than a year later.

Obviously God intended that this humorous truth teller whose vocation it is to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable be born.

I'm just sorry he has had to pay such a high price in his personal life, but I am grateful that he has taken the risk.
