Well, Arby's hired my mom's friends daughter whom hasn't worked in 2 years.

Which I've been out of a job a lot longer than that but it gives me a tad bit of hope.

I'll be going up there around 4ish this afternoon when the lady I need to speak with is there.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. I just need a chance.

You guys - and ladies - this is getting ridonkulous. I can't believe that's it's going on the amount of time it took me last year to find a decent job BUT WITH NO LEADS. I'm thankful, in a sense, (very, very thankful) but sometimes it feels like I am losing some hope here. It's making me question some things and I like I said I am thankful for what this time has allotted, but at the same time unholy whoa. It's not only me here. I have seemingly-always been employed. It feels like I've always had a job and now, it's like nobody wants me. Everyone wants to pay minimum wage, which some people can't afford to live on. It's insanity. I'm even thinking of going back to retail after more than a decade of working in offices - not a knock on those who work there, but retail is notorious for paying sub-standard wages.

I know the feeling. It's tough out there. I know people that have jobs just fall in their laps it seems and it drives me crazy!

I know others whom like myself have been searching for years and can't find a thing! Not even an interview. It sucks I know.

I loathe when people tell me this but sometimes you have to take something you don't like in order to get something you do. It seems lately though I can't even get something I don't like!

I know the economy has a lot to do with it but it seems myself and others just can't catch a break at all.

We will keep praying though and keep trusting Him to open doors.

Stay Strong!

I didn't get the job I interviewed for. They said they promoted someone from within the company. Very disappointed right now.

I'm so sorry.

I hate when companies hire from within yet post the AD publicly. (I've heard they have to but it doesn't make much sense)
