I changed my userid to include my real name.
Maggie was just a family name I used online.

I am actually named after Kathryn Grayson.
Other movie star Cathy's I like: Katherine Hepburn and Kathleen Turner.

So anyone else ever thought to change their name.
Either username or real name?

I wanted to when I was younger. My real name is Kelleen. I didnt like that it was different from everyone elses. But now that I'm older I like having a unique name

i actually like my real name the only thing i change from time to time (as tenorvoice, Red that's me, and intricatic know ) is the spelling of my name. and thats only because i like variety and i think the other spellings are very pretty

i have thought about changing my username on here too but honestly it fits me too well to change it

lol Good times with the name changing.

I did change my SN here the first year I was a member. I wanted something unique and easy to use. Most people shorten it to just RED and that's fine with moi.

I like my real name too, Heather.

My parents were CERTAIN they were having a boy so they hadn't even picked out a name for me. Dad ended up naming me after my cousin (Cynthia) and I have my crazy Aunt's middle name. Later on I found out my great-grandmother's first name was Cynthia. Rumour has it she was either half or full-blooded Native American. I've always felt a connection there for some odd reason so I tend to say I'm named after her instead of my cousin. lol Her middle name was Mary....I've always liked that name. I like other forms of the name too...Maria, Marina (not to be confused with Macrina! lol)

Ppl IRL call me Cindy. I dunno...I guess it fits.

My screen name fits me but I've thought about changing it from time to time....not sure what tho.

I don’t like my name. I've (not too seriously) considered changing it to "Vincent," with the new middle name of "Jin." Saying, "I'm Vincent" is so much better than the introduction I am now stuck with. *sigh*

I used to not like my middle name, Nicholas, until I got into Russian history and discovered that it was A, in honor of the last emperor, and B, also after Baron Stephen Nicholaeyevich Prussetskii - my great-great grandfather.

I'm still thinking of maybe adding a second middle name, though; something in honor of my obsession with Rome and Byzantium. "Aurelian," maybe, or some variation thereof. "Stephen Nicholas Aurelianus Bunnell." Hmmmmm...I rather like that. Some of the last few Roman Emperors had pretty kickin' names, too; Valentinian, Majorian, and Anthemius come to mind.

My real nom de plume is clear from my SN, but it's a bit too common, I fear. Whenever I hear someone say "Hey, another Jeff!", I cringe on the inside; and can occasionally keep from cringing on the outside, too.

I had a cat named Nicholas.
He was already named when I got him.

Cathy was real common in school.
Just in elementary school there was four of us.
Four of us out of a class of maybe 40 or 50.
