The nephilem

Hi, have revisited the old book as of late and and wondered does anyone have an explanation for the brief mention of the 'nephiliem where on the world' bit?

AFAIK, when a species becomes intelligent the first members are nephilim meaning that they are fallen and 'sinful'.

eventually they evolve beyond that and become sinless 'sons of God'.

There might be other ways of looking at it though.

Check out the Book of Enoch. This text was found in the dead sea scrolls and predates Jesus (Jesus himself probably studied it but thats lost to history). Enoch is referenced in the Book of Jude:14-15 from Enoch 1:9. It tells what I believe the real story of the nephilim/giants but you might not see it the same way.

Enoch explains the origins of the nephilim, the offspring of the fallen angels/watchers who mated with sinful women and brought forth giants. They gave mankind all kinds of heavenly knowledge we were never really meant to have, if you read the book it names each fallen angel and tells exactly what each one taught us. I would read Enoch and then read the following Bible verses:

Genesis 6:1-8
Numbers 13:29-33
Deut 2:10-12, 20-22
3:11
9:2-3
Joshua 15:13-14
Jude 6
Revelation 12:7-12
Jubilees 4:21-24, 5:1-6, 7:20-25, 8:3-4, 10:5, 29:9-11 (not canon to most Christians but it is to the Ethiopian Orthodox)
1 Baruch 3:26-28 (another lost book of the Bible)

Goliath and his brothers were descendents of the nephilim tribes (the rephaim, emites, anakites etc) which explains his stature. This theory can help explain how many ancient structures built of solid stone were constructed.

You might not see it the same way as I do, but I think theres been a big coverup through history. If Enoch (which is scripture and part of the canon to the Ethiopian Orthodox) was part of what you would call the typical worldwide canon we'd have a much different idea of our world. The whole idea of aliens might not even exist.

I hope I could help. This topic has been an area of interest for me especially since I went from believing in alien creation/the annunaki (who I believe were the watchers who decieved the Sumerians into believing they were our creators) to being saved a filled with the Holy Spirit. From there I read the entire Bible and kind of dismantled the whole annunaki lie in my own opinion anyways. I like to think God wants me to share my knowledge in this area with others.

Gareth, the Nephilim came about when "sons of God" meaning angels (presumably fallen angels, ie: demons), took on human form and had sex with human females. The resulting "hybrides" were giants between 9-12 feet tall. They are a fact of secular history that most modern day scientists both ignore and disclaim, but we have abundant historical facts for their existence...not of which the least is the fact that God sees fit to mention them in His Word.

Goliath was a Nephilim, as well as others mentioned that David's "mighty men of valor" helped to wipe out of Israel during David's reign.
