No scientist believes in pure Darwinism anymore. It is much more *ahem* evolved now. :p New discoveries have added to Darwin's theory, such as developments in population genetics (which verify the Mendelian genetic theory). Darwin left out a lot of what we now consider the evolutionary theory, and other areas of biology have come in since to fill in the gaps. So, in saying that Darwinian evolution is false, you would be partially correct, in the sense that it does not give a good explanation of the entire evolutionary process.

However, evolution is quite hard to deny when confronted with the overwhelming genetic and fossil evidence.

Comparing skulls on Wikipedia wont show you what actually happens but only sets you up for Darwinian speculation. Look into actual mutational experiments instead.
I agree that looking into mutational experiments is also good. Here's a few to look up.

The Lenski Experiment which shows that multi step mutations take place to give an organism a new function that it didn't have before. In this case it was the ability to utilize citrate as a food source.

Also check out volvox and how it developed eye spots. (Not really eyes, but photo sensitive spots which is the first step
