The movie NOAH

If you intend to see the movie NOAH, remember what Genesis 7:13 says – “On the very same day Noah and Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark—“ NKJV

Either before or after you’ve seen the movie, I encourage you to read the following chapters in your bible, Genesis 6-9 to get the truth about Noah and his family.

The movie: NOAH, seems to be a slam against God for His destruction of mankind, and showing the noble efforts of man to survive in the face of God's wrath. I have only seen the advertisements, but that is enough to show it is not good and a true picture.

One should read the Bible and see the real story in full about man's rebellion (and note also Matthew 24:37-39 to see that scene repeated in our age for the same reason). Judgment is truly coming, and perhaps very soon. Jesus Christ is our only hope.

I'll watch it if it comes on Netflix or someone lends it to me at some point, maybe. Just to see the big budget disaster movie aspect of it, and a little to see the controversy.

If anyone knows someone that's going to see this movie to learn about Noah, the Bible, or God... then they should sit that person down and offer a real education on the topic.

I saw the movie Noah on Monday.
I didn't see any noble effort to survive God's wrath. What I saw was a leader who used the word of God given to Adam in a very twisted way. A good lesson for us.

Also the struggle was good and evil was clearly shown to be a struggle that is in each of us. Very powerful portrayed.

Ya, if you want the exact words of the Bible read the Bible don't see a movie. Movies aren't books.

It goes contrary to what the bible says. In the bible, the story of Noah warns us of a coming judgement.

This movie tells us the God is a hateful God... smh... Hollywood...

Because just saying "Insha'allah to everything is a cop-out. God gave you eyes and ears and a brain and feet for a reason. We are not automatons. There's profound differences between "I belong to Christ" and "God controls my movements."

The allah of the Muslims is the latter. Our God is a God who loves his children and rejoices when they walk and encourages them when they fall down.
