I disagree. Many minors are being recruited by trans activits into believing something they aren't. Just look at drag queen story hour, or the non binary nonsense. I can go on and on. It's all part of the trans agenda.

Well..from many Christian perspectives, the trans "community" is indeed delusional for believing they are the opposite sex, when in reality they aren't.

I'm 43 years old. While I am heterosexual and cis, I'm pro-LGBTQA+ rights. I live on the border with Vermont, which is ground zero for gay rights. I vacation in Burlington. I vacation Ogunquit, Maine, called Gay Vegas and the most gay-friendly town in New England. You know how many times I've found myself in a situation where the LGBTQA+ "crowd" "demands" my attention?

Exactly zero.

I've never been forced into a drag story hour, never had roving bands of itinerant LGBTQA+ people demand I be gay, never had a representative of the LGBTQA+ community knock on my door and say "do you have a moment to spare to hear about Ricky Martin, Nathan Lane, and Rupaul?" I've never looked up, noticed that gay people have descended upon me like pigeons in a park and said to myself "great, I'm in the middle of one of those pop-up pride events again." I've never been stuck in traffic behind a pride parade that randomly appeared out of nowhere and now I'm forced to be a part of it. My husband and I grew up watching "Tootsie," "Ms. Doubtfire," "Some Like it Hot," "Bosom Buddies," and yet, somehow we didn't catch the trans.

If you are routinely finding yourself in scenarios where you're in a crowd of LGBTQA+ people demanding your attention... Respectfully... Where on earth are you hanging out? Like, are you going to midnight screenings of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and surprised they aren't like a Sunday church service? Are you going to gay bars when you meant to hit up the Legion? Like... If you find yourself SO surrounded by SO many gays just DEMANDING your attention and you can't stand it... It's time to audit how you're spending your time.

And reminder, I didn't say that because you don't agree with the ideology means you must be ignorant. I said that because of the things you said while expressing your "absolutely polite" position on the "disgusting" group of people you're maligning, you have revealed that you're a bit ignorant on the topic. All you've done is said "no I'm not" which is like... Ok, so you say you're not. But that doesn't really change the fact that a lot of the things you say are simply not true.

In fact, perpetuating negative speak about the demographic most at risk to self harm and unfair treatment by others, calling them "disgusting" and implying they're pedophiles... One would call that harmful.

So... Is it that harming minors is bad? Or is it that harming some minors is acceptable losses as long as you can really drive home how much you don't like a group of people for no discernable reason beyond your lack of knowledge and innate biases?

The behavior is certainly disgusting (at pride patades), but not the people themselves.

Yes, I’ve seen Some Like it Hot, Mrs. Doubtfire, Rocky Horror Picture Show, But I’m a Cheerleader, Brokeback Mountain, Beautiful Thing, among others. I have no problem.

I respect people’s right to live as they want. Period. I still believing they are harming themselves spiritually, nonetheless, but they will answer to GOD ALONE for their sinful lifestyles, nor me.

I never ONCE called anyone a pedophile. Period.

Lack of knowledge? I graduated magna cum laude, with my degree in psychology, thank you very much.

Now I as a person who has been to them, I can tell you there was a riotous reading of "Dragons Like Tacos," an interactive reading of "The Book with No Pictures," and a somber reading of "The Kissing Hand." Everybody left the reading the same orientation they arrived to it as. The kids left with glow sticks and clappy hands. There was no indoctrination. No discussion of any of the performer's gender identity or sexual preferences... Just a person done up like a drag queen reading a book.

For example, you think that drag queens are all trans or they're all men or they're all gay men. Drag queens can be any of those things, but they are not exclusively those things. Hetero men, hetero women, gay women... All of them can be drag queens. Drag queens is an art and performance style, not a declaration of sexual behavior. The fact that you're inferring it because that's where your mind wanders? Well, that's a "you" problem, not a "them" problem. If you see a drag queen and your mind wanders to their bedroom activities, that's a symptom of your dysfunction and not something they have. You can't punish an entire group because, for some reason, drag queens equate to pedophilia and same-sex bedroom behaviors in your mind.

How would you know? You just admitted you've never been to a story hour. Have you seen other family-focused drag shows? Did you get similarly outraged when "Ms. Doubtfire" came out? Or the original "Lilo and Stitch" when one of the characters spent the whole thing in drag? When Bugs Bunny dressed like a girl to entice Elmer Fudd, did you freak out how inappropriate it was? All of that is family-friendly drag.

Or is this like my kid who insists that he's not afraid of thunderstorms, but when they happen he freaks out? We're supposed to know that you saying you're not afraid of them is how you cope with being embarrassed at how your behavior revealed you are totally afraid of them.

I haven't seen any either. I saw one random sighting in Ogunquit over Halloween and I got so hype, I took my picture with him. My life needs more random encounters with drag queens.

Yes, I’m aware of how sexual orientation works, and I’m aware of so called gender identity.

I will state drag and drag queens are different. Mrs. Doubtfire was an unattractive 60 year old grandma like woman. She’s not dressed like so called drag queens today. If that makes any sense?

As long as things are age appropriate, I have no problem. I just don’t understand the purpose of DQSH, because it’s just odd.
