  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's even worse when you start getting along with the siblings. No_worries and I have always been insane, but when we started getting along, it was like super nuclear subatomic reactions goin' on capable of turning even the most controlled person into a complete schizo....as evidenced in our average conversations (Look back at post 63 for the example :D ).

Yeah, I have noticed that you two aren't as close as perhaps one would expect a brother and sister to be...but then again, he doesn't try too hard. For some reason, as you know, he thinks your the biggest dork ever...which I fail to understand. I think you're kind and hang out with good people, but I guess it's his opinion to have...and that's kinda also why I think of you as my own sister: I understand that there are things that you'll only confide with in certain people and...well, I don't think your real brother would be very open to hearing your problems.

You're right about that SfC. I really wish that the two of us were closer, and that when I have problems, that he will listen, but it will be some time before he gets his head screwed on straight. But whatever, I can wait.

Actually, from what I've seen from simply hanging around her, it seems she doesn't need help in that respect; she's already there!

Getting ready to go to church. My youth group is having our Christmas program today, and I have a lead singing role :eek:. This'll be interesting...

My brother and sister are home for Christmas break as of yesdterday, so that's cool. 'Course, then my brother had to leave yesterday to go to his girlfriend's in Joplin and probably won't be back 'till tomorrow or the next day. It's like he's getting sucked up a black hole...
