Maybe the sun is building up to a huge Coronal Mass Ejection, something we do experience with minor CME’s. They happen very suddenly and unexpectedly, reaching earth within hours and are capable of causing enormous damage and deaths worldwide.
All electrical and communications systems, industry, transport; our modern infrastructure could be destroyed, or at least severely damaged. Armies would be back to 1800’s technology.

There has never been an CME of the magnitude Prophesied and there will never be another like it. Joel 2:2b
The CME nearest to it was in 1865, the Carrington sunspot exploded and caused much damage to the early electrical systems. Another one like it would be enough to cause huge devastation and disruption to our modern society.

Why would satellites crash to earth? A CME does not change orbital physics.

If you cared to find out about what a big CME can do, then you would know that firstly the initial flash will arrive within 8 minutes, with the EMP and microwaves, to destroy electrical systems and cause earthquakes. Deuteronomy 32:22

No doubt planet earth will experience adverse climatic events .... however on "that day" the day the Lord returns it will be complete destruction of the inhabitants on planet earth ... the earth will be left totally desolate ... this desolation will happen due to His presence ... not sun spots. ie no one can see God an live.

That you are quite wrong, is proved by Revelation 15:1, where it says that God's wrath is over before Jesus Returns.
Where, in Revelation 19:15 God's wrath is mentioned, it is as being completed - as all of Revelation before the Return tells us.

Jesus does NOT come to rule over a desolate earth!

That you are quite wrong, is proved by Revelation 15:1, where it says that God's wrath is over before Jesus Returns.
Where, in Revelation 19:15 God's wrath is mentioned, it is as being completed - as all of Revelation before the Return tells us.

Jesus does NOT come to rule over a desolate earth!

He rules over heaven and earth. He does not return to dwell in this sinful world .... He returns to eliminate it (sin). When He returns .... that is not the final end ... the first resurrection happens (of the saved) (changed, sin removed and in new bodies) those go to heaven .... who is left on planet earth? satan and his minions (they don't require earths atmosphere etc for their existence - the earth is indeed desolate) .... who comes up in the 2nd resurrection? The evil dead are resurrected in their sinful condition ... why? to receive final judgement for eternity (non existence for eternity) along with satan and his minions.

Everyone's existence is dependent upon Him alone now and forever. We (saved) will still be human in heaven but not subject to death because of the cleansing blood of Jesus .... that has eliminated sin. We won't be tempted to sin because satan and his minions will not have to access to us. As long as there are inhabitants on current planet earth ..... there is sin.

Jesus did everything necessary to provide the path back for everyone back to Him .... the door of salvation is open to everyone until He returns for anyone that will.

Everything was/is fulfilled in Jesus .... EVERYTHING! He rules now and forever AMEN!

Right, there is not a nuke war described in Zech 14, or anywhere else in the Bible.
What over 100 Prophesies do describe is a sudden and shocking strike upon the earth by a Coronal Mass Ejection.

A lot of things would need to happen to set the stage for such a thing, ie Geopolitics changing so much that it allows a antichrist type figure to rise up and take control of the majority of the middle east if not the world.

Russia, while it will probably win the way in Ukraine, barring a Nato entry, will have effectively spent it military forces and will want need to have a couple of decades to recover, re-arm etc if it does indeed have ambitions to take over more countries (I don't believe it does).

The 2nd coming won't create a power vacuum as Jesus will be in charge, He will rule for a 1000 years with an iron rod. It will be a time of great peace and prosperity & Israel will be the dominant nation. They will see & get what they could have had 2000 years ago if they had not rejected Christ back then. People will not be immortal (except resurrected ones) during the millennium but they will live much longer than people do now in general.
For reasons that we can not really fathom, they still rebel towards the end, yes, Satan is released and deceives them, but we can not fathom how or why they would be deceived having seen and seeing Jesus in real life. Yet they do & the final rebellion is put down at the end of the millennium. Mountains falling etc happens when Jesus returns the 2nd time.

You are typical, in how you push any serious change or forthcoming disaster, out to beyond the time you really need to seriously prepare for it.

Not that we can actually do anything to mitigate what is Prophesied to happen. But just to know what the Lord will use on that Day, will be a help, as we can know why it happens and know what He Promises to those who stand firm in their faith and trusting in His protection through it all.

Israel will be the dominant nation.

You are another one sucked in by thinking that Jewish Israel is still the chosen people.
This idea is a contradiction of the entire New Testament message, where ONLY believers in Jesus are the true peoples of God. from every tribe, race, nation and language.
The fate of Judah is well prophesied and only a remnant will survive. Isaiah 22:14, Romans 9:27

Really, did you & do you misunderstand things that easily? The coincidence was not the events but the fact that the periods lasted 2000 years. I don't think that is any reliable guide to the length of the next one (ie current period we are in) but time, next 10 years to 15 years, will tell.

That is what I have been told that I misrepresent people's positions.

The 2nd coming won't create a power vacuum as Jesus will be in charge, He will rule for a 1000 years with an iron rod. It will be a time of great peace and prosperity & Israel will be the dominant nation. They will see & get what they could have had 2000 years ago if they had not rejected Christ back then. People will not be immortal (except resurrected ones) during the millennium but they will live much longer than people do now in general.
For reasons that we can not really fathom, they still rebel towards the end, yes, Satan is released and deceives them, but we can not fathom how or why they would be deceived having seen and seeing Jesus in real life. Yet they do & the final rebellion is put down at the end of the millennium. Mountains falling etc happens when Jesus returns the 2nd time.

You are another one sucked in by thinking that Jewish Israel is still the chosen people.
This idea is a contradiction of the entire New Testament message, where ONLY believers in Jesus are the true peoples of God. from every tribe, race, nation and language.
The fate of Judah is well prophesied and only a remnant will survive. Isaiah 22:14, Romans 9:27

The Jews are Gods chosen people & He will fulfill all His promises to them. However its only the ones that come to believe in Jesus Christ as their true Messiah that make it through the Tribulation, they are the remnant.

God will fulfil His Promises to Israel, that is: to the Israelites who are the Overcomers for God. as Jacob was and as we see in each of the 7 Church's of Revelation.
As Jesus said: God can raise up children of Abraham from the very stones and we Christians are his Spiritual descendants. Galatians 3:26-29

John 3:36 is clear: ONLY believers in Jesus now, will live.

AS for the 7000 year Plan of God for mankind, this principal is shown to us in Genesis, where God took 7 'days' for the creation. We are told that a day to God in heaven, is equal to a thousand years of earth time.
