THE LORD'S DAY IS THE SABBATH DAY NOT SUNDAY!

I have entered the Lords rest. The Lord is my shepherd, my teacher, my comforter. Praise the Lord, my hope. I see no reason to observe any holy days at all. I believe sabbath rest is found in Jesus not a calendar, and until someone can prove otherwise i'll keep believing that.

Have a read of HEBREWS 3. Many of God's people did not enter into God's REST because they hardened their heart through the deceitfulness of sin and did not BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD. God did not let them enter his rest. HEBREWS 3 and HEBREWS 4 are a warning to us living today that if we do not BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD and harden our heart through SIN we will not enter into God's REST (Gospel and SABBATH). We all have the choice to choose to believe God's WORD or not. We are all accountable to God come judgment day and will be judged by his Word (John 12:47-48).

Can you please explain your comments obove and prove what your saying and make your case from scripture. If you cannot then you are simply making things up because you have no scripture for your position. Happy to discuss God's WORD with you.

You yourself gave an example of your false labeling system in the post right above this question when you called the parts of the the Mosaic law you've tossed as "shadow laws" which you then think you conveniently don't have to follow when following God's laws. If you're going to be a lawkeeper, you will have to follow ALL the law or you are in disobedience to the law. You can't just pick and choose which of God's laws you will follow.

No one here believes that following law saves anyone. We are only saved by GRACE THROUGH FAITH and not of ourselves, it is a GIFT OF GOD and not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8).

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God? Only God's WORD is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God.

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

What you describe is grace through *works* and not grace through *faith*. If you have to earn grace through works of law, then it is not grace through faith alone. You can't have it both ways. The concept of grace through works of law is false teaching and a rejection of Jesus' free gift of grace.

Hello W2L, there is not a single scripture in ROMANS 14 that is discussing God's 4th Commandment SEVENTH DAY SABBATH. The chapter is discussing food and fasting connected to HOLY DAYS and days men esteem above others in relation to food and fasting. The chapter does not even mention God's 4th Commandment or does it say that God's Sabbath has been ABOLISHED and we are now free to worship God on any day of the week.

The point of Paul's message in Romans 14 goes right over your head. Paul is using food law as one *example* of the message, so it does not need to mention every law specifically to get the point across.

Really? and all this time I thought I was providing God's WORD? Here let me post it for you again as I noticed you have provided no scripture but are simply saying things that have not been said....

No one here believes that following law saves anyone. We are only saved by GRACE THROUGH FAITH and not of ourselves, it is a GIFT OF GOD and not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8).

Some however do not know what God's GRACE is for...

SIN is the transgression of GOD'S LAW and if anyone CONTINUES in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN; God's WORD says they will DIE and not ENTER THE KINGDOM of HEAVEN because they have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-27; 6:4-8; Matthew 7:12-23)
