Dad,
I have followed your responses, 100s of them. Now please back your claim and prove it. All of us are waiting.
Easy as pie to do..

You put this in red

"I claim science doesn't know that state of the past, and can prove it. Just watch you fail!"

There have been then hundreds of posts you claim, seen anyone prove it yet!!!?? No. The evidence is clear. It can't be done. As icing on the proof cake, I offer you as evidence. Let's see you prove the state of the far past?

So kids, knowing that they all failed, and being able to see it demonstrated and tested and repeated here and in other threads, you may safely flush the same state past based claims as lies.

err.. Dad, we are waiting for you to prove it as ypou originated what is highlighted in red, now prove it! How can science not prove the state of the past?

What is the point in even suggesting that the past had different "rules"? Unless, of course, you are trying to pigeonhole a belief system into a reality that won't have it?

Does anyone have any evidence at all for this different set of "rules" or is all of this pure speculation?

Ask dad; he's the one who makes the claim. I'd love it if he could provide you or anyone else with some evidence.

He can't and he never will.

He claims "Science can't know the state of the past.".

But science has no valid reason to even remotely suspect that the past was any different, there's no evidence of it and there's no evidence that anything changed. Ever.

He might as well be claiming "Science can't know the state of the Castle of the underpant gnomes.".

Oh, and Dad, is this "Different state" nonsense, a claim that you can't back up with evidence all you have? Seriously, it's all you ever talk about.

All you say is "Science can't prove me wrong! I must be right!".

The only proof required is that science doesn't know. Nothing else matters here. The actual nature that existed is beyond science, so that will remain unknown to natural man and his natural mind. Get used to it...or look to things spiritual.

Simple. The point is that the claims of so called science are baseless baloney. Does science know? If not it is hooped. All it's claims out of the present are dead. Dead. Dead.

I do. I see you have a Christian icon. Right? The bible talks of a different past. You believe it? Or would you prefer to believe what cannot be proven, a same state past?

Or to believe that the past was the same! That is why you, here, now will not be able to prove it. Got it VD?

So if I'm getting this right, scientists observing a phenomena, then conducting tests based on formula that are hypothesized to explain that phenomena with constants that apply here, and then finding that they were correct down to the number, can be ignored because some user on an ancient christian message board thinks that despite all the testing done that shows that the past and the far away operate exactly like the present and the near is either fake or wrong or not done?
Jesus, that's a run-on, sorry.

No.

Nothing like that.

Name one test as you describe? :) Let us all get this right.

Sorry, could you explain it then?

As for the tests, spectroscopy, for one. That's in addition to using Relativity to predict the orbits of planets and light Doppler to predict the movement of stars. We use complex formulas for calculating gravitational pull around planets so that we can launch space probes like Cassini, which was launched from Earth, flew across the Solar system, and then was guided into an orbit around Saturn, where it has remained, thanks to much work from scientists studying the workings of gravitational orbit.

I dare say you might want to push your unlike zones out to around the edge of the gas giants (in a donut shape, of course. We don't want to allow the Sun to be observed with accuracy)

And in its place there's what? What? What?

Vain attempts to drag everything else down to your level doesn't give validity to your blather. Blather. Blather.

Dreams... The results are zero. Ever. Anywhere. Any results come from another basis.

And what other basis would that be?

What about it?

You intentionally forgot it so that you wouldn't have to deal with it.

The laws of the universe we do not know even today, except somewhat, near earth.

How have you determined this?

Rather than talk big, give specifics of how you think that you can prove the laws were the same.

I already have.

or have you forgot the example of radio dating techniques agreeing with each other?

Being a charismatic Christian, I have no problem seeing the spiritual and have no problem at all with science. Infact, there are plenty of scientists who are christians.

Science is about testing, conclusions, peer review based on sound evidence which is testable and observable. Medecine, planes, technology is proof that scince can and does find out out and knowledge is gained.

This is God's gift to man and to me is a facet of God's image; our creativity.

What you have failed endlessly to do is backing up your claims with PROOF that things were somehow different in the past.

So, please stop avoiding, just answer; please?

I have repeatedly told our Creationist friends that the Bible is a spiritual Book and not a Science textbook. Millions worldwide are Christians and yet have no conflict with science.
This fringe group of people who are mainly Americans and or live in America; Have confused Faith with science and faith with politics.

They are so set in their beliefs that it is truly a waste of time trying to convince them of otherwise. Unless they are young and impressionable then we may as well just ignore them or play along in jest!
