Was post #68 too complicated? I tried to make it as simple as possible. I am not be facitious, but I am trying to make you understand. The problem is you are being more stiff-necked than Israel in the wilderness! You are refusing to see this for what it is. You think all you need to do is pull out verses that Paul wrote in letters and your understanding is complete on what the law of G-d is, but that don't make it so.

Every where the word 'Scripture' is used in the NT, it is referring to the teachings found in the Torah and the prophets. It does not refer to Pauls letters, one mans teaching. You must compare what anyone is teaching to that which came before and make sure it ALL matches up before making it YOUR beliefs.

You give too much esteem to this one man who is not backed up according to Scripture, according to the Torah which speaks about these matters.

Your gospel, your faith is built on the words of one man about G-d and about Jesus, but not on what they specifically said themselves. Paul was not even an eye witness to the L-RD, and in order to be one to take the rightful place according to Peter was to be approved of those who were eye witnesses to Jesus' ministry and then they would be in this position.

The thread is titled, "THE Law" what did you expect to find in here? If discussing G-ds laws is so abhorrent to you then why bother coming in here in the first place?

It makes me wonder why there is such an outcry against these types of threads, if it is totally bogus, totally wrong, then you shouldn't be paying it any mind at all, right?

It also makes me wonder if society decided that the laws should be done away with like those who want G-ds laws done away with, how long would man last? How long would you feel any safety, leaving your house, going out on the road, sending your children to school........................................

Well if you dont think Paul is inspired scripture,then you are not in his goepel.God's gospel.It was the same as Peter,whom you quote,so YOU are showing inconsistentcy,not me.

You really can't talk about anything without quoting Galatians can you? Or occasionally romans, can you make any post describing your beliefs without using Pauls letters? It seems you believe in Paulinanity, not Christianity.

As usual,as per line one,you are getting personal,the sign of one loosing a debate. The jews still are stiffnecked,according to Stephen.

Man is not commanded by "nature" or 'moral law' to observe a saturday as a Sabbath so how is the sabbath commandment not ceremonial?

Not biblical. The tablets of stone passed away. We are under the ministry of the Spirit.

BTW- Jesus reiterated 9 of the 10 original commandments. The fourth commandment was fully fulfilled by Jesus and the rest written by the Spirit of the living God not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh. The letter kills but the spirit gives life.

You must choose to be judged by Jesus' works or your own.

To look at the 10 Commandments and say, "I must obey all of these in order to be worthy of heaven", is to reject the grace which Jesus provided for us.

If you choose the 10 Commandments, then if you break one of them at any time of your life, then you will be dooming yourself.

His Saints Keep His Commandments: "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."Rev 14;12.

Even in heaven, the Lord makes quite a statement about His Covenant: "And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple The Ark of His Testament: and there were LIGHTNINGS, and VOICES, and THUNDERINGS, and AN EARTHQUAKE, and GREAT HAIL." Rev 11:19.There was only One Covenant within the ark: THE TEN COMMANDMENT COVENANT.

"Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Rev 22:14. But, you must have His Spirit within you, to obey His Word/His law.

Luke 18:20 The commandments thou have known, no thou should be committing adultery, no thou should be murdering/foneushV <5407> (5661), no thou should be stealing, no thou should be bearing false witness. Be honouring thy father and thy mother.

James 5:6 Ye condemn, ye murder/efoneusate <5407> (5656) the Righteous-One, not He is resisting to Ye.
