And how would you reconcile that verse with this one?
The same one that wrote that also wrote the one you quoted.
But Isaiah said:
you can call it Paul,I call it scripture.
Man if I had every dime for every law thread started here I would be richer than Gates and Buffet put together
I thought you called Paul "ME"... your not always consistent that way
give it time sis..we are all growing,at a different pace.
Was post #68 too complicated? I tried to make it as simple as possible. I am not be facitious, but I am trying to make you understand. The problem is you are being more stiff-necked than Israel in the wilderness! You are refusing to see this for what it is. You think all you need to do is pull out verses that Paul wrote in letters and your understanding is complete on what the law of G-d is, but that don't make it so.you can call it Paul,I call it scripture.
The thread is titled, "THE Law" what did you expect to find in here? If discussing G-ds laws is so abhorrent to you then why bother coming in here in the first place?Man if I had every dime for every law thread started here I would be richer than Gates and Buffet put together

Every where the word 'Scripture' is used in the NT, it is referring to the teachings found in the Torah and the prophets. It does not refer to Pauls letters, one mans teaching. You must compare what anyone is teaching to that which came before and make sure it ALL matches up before making it YOUR beliefs.
You give too much esteem to this one man who is not backed up according to Scripture, according to the Torah which speaks about these matters.
Your gospel, your faith is built on the words of one man about G-d and about Jesus, but not on what they specifically said themselves. Paul was not even an eye witness to the L-RD, and in order to be one to take the rightful place according to Peter was to be approved of those who were eye witnesses to Jesus' ministry and then they would be in this position.
The simple fact is,Paul did now want the law for Tim's church. And it was about the 10,because we can see the list of wonderful people, who were not the saved addressed in 1:9,but the unsaved..They are just like the ones in Rom 1.The unsaved are to see the law,and repent, then leave the custody of sin,and the law that kept them captive..until..until..they came into faith.Gal3 3:22-25.
As usual,as per line one,you are getting personal, the sign of one loosing a debate. Was post #68 too complicated? I tried to make it as simple as possible. Paul didn't want it?
Paul decides what to teach, to the gentiles who knew no better?
Hmm........................
The ten who, what?
What wonderful ten people?
Those not saved.
How are the unsaved gentiles to see a law they never heard of?
How did the law keep them captive if they never knew about it? It was the Jews law, remember?
You really can't talk about anything without quoting Galatians can you? Or occasionally romans, can you make any post describing your beliefs without using Pauls letters? It seems you believe in Paulinanity, not Christianity.
do you believe that there are two gospels? one for the gentiles, administered by Paul the Pharisee and the other for Jews, administered by the 12 that Jesus left in charge?

It makes me wonder why there is such an outcry against these types of threads, if it is totally bogus, totally wrong, then you shouldn't be paying it any mind at all, right?
It also makes me wonder if society decided that the laws should be done away with like those who want G-ds laws done away with, how long would man last? How long would you feel any safety, leaving your house, going out on the road, sending your children to school........................................
If you do not obey all Ten Commandments, you will perish in the lake of fire at the Judgment Day. The Ceremonial law was completed by Jesus' death on Calvary.
If you do not obey all Ten Commandments, you will perish in the lake of fire at the Judgment Day. The Ceremonial law was completed by Jesus' death on Calvary.
You must choose to be judged by Jesus' works or your own.If you do not obey all Ten Commandments, you will perish in the lake of fire at the Judgment Day. The Ceremonial law was completed by Jesus' death on Calvary.
Well, I haven't murdered anyone yetIf you fail to keep the Ten Commandments, you will perish in the lake of fire. I keep all Ten of them, by the power of the Holy Spirit within me. Which one do you not obey?
