Did you leave especially because of that practice? Did you get to keep your healing powers after you left them?I mentioned one practice I disagreed with.
Well when I said they are not affiliated with a denomination I literally mean they view themselves as the true extension of the Acts church with no connection even to "non denominational" groups. I went through their "Pioneer School" where their leader/founder Torben Sondergaard teaches his doctrine, and the first 2 or 3 are focused completely on the errors of modern denomination s including Pentecostals and nondenoms and why TLR is different.
What is your opinion about this? Are all these 'healings' staged (hired actors) or are they made with the power of the enemy?

I cannot say that they are all fake. Though I am sure some are.
One thing to keep in mind about Youtube is people make money by posting videos. And some make a lot of money doing this. The more views a video gets, the more money it rakes in. So people are more likely to post dramatic/sensational material, because it attracts more views.
I think the best thing to do is look at what these people believe. Are the beliefs they are sharing biblical? If not, I wouldn't trust them.
man that's terrible... seems like they ignore the order that was established in the early churches as well and the teaching that took place. Can't just send people out after they just got saved they need to know the word so they can walk in spirit and truth.I didn't get that far with them. They typically will tell people to "get kickstarted" which means you go out with one of the more senior members of the group and heal on the streets. I got baptized by the group and like they always do they tried to cast out demons once I was baptized and nothing happened then they prayed for me to be filled with the Holy Spirit which nothing happened either. I tried telling them before I was already full of the Spirit and just needed baptized but apparently they didn't believe me because the rest of the time I was there all they asked me was "Are you sure?" "Did you feel any conflict?" Etc.
Many of that group in my area are followers of pretty extreme groups that believe in things such as gold dust, Holy Spirit Fireballs, etc. which is why I left the group. Teaching that we can manipulate the Holy Spirit at our will is probably blasphemy and definitely Heresy and I want none of it.
Now some of them are good people, in fact I am sure most are. But it is a dangerous thing because they view discipleship as "kickstarting"... aka they will preach repentance and baptism, then baptize, show you how to heal then leave you and unless there are other sins in your area you are alone. Their reasoning is you have the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will keep a child of God from false doctrine and so they don't need senior level discipleship, yadda yadda. I am simplifying it but that is the gist of it

Also one major difference I notice between him and other faiths...doens't seem to have a set doctrine could be wrong though.
Already that is false doctrine, because the Bible is clear that only some have that gift, not all. Some of their doctrine is scriptural but they really do not have a lot of doctrine. As I previously stated their doctrine is "Everyone is an evangelist so let's show you how to preach repentance, baptize, heal and cast out demons" then set the new convert loose upon the world.

"He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers" - Ephesians 4:11 (NKJV)
This is why it is important to delve deeply into the Scriptures, and to learn how to do proper exegesis. People are being deceived because they lack knowledge of these things (see Hos. 4:6; Prov. 14:12; Heb. 5:11-14).
I do not know these people. Jesus was preaching the Gospel given by God. He was able to give gifts of healing. I do not think there could be spiritual healing without God's approval. If a church was empowered, I would expect to find not only healing, but God inspired teaching as well. There are several YouTube channels with videos showing people "allegedly" healing others of various pains on the streets and in various public locations (stores, parks etc.). One of the most notable one I've come across is this one: WINDSOR ON FIRE
After doing a little research, I found out that they do some sort of recruitment of disciples. They travel to various places and people go and meet them and they give these people "the power of the Holy Spirit" so they can heal other people too.
The whole thing is based on a movie from a few years ago called The Last Reformation, which is about this new religious movement that claims that all Christians can do miracles with the help of The Holy Spirit in Jesus' name. You can watch more about it here: The Last Reformation
There are other channels with street healers that claim to be using the power of The Holy Spirit to heal random passerbies of their pains.

There was a televangelist in the 80's named Peter Popoff. He was able to tell some of the audience things about them without having met them. It was later revealed his wife was meeting members of the audience before the show and collecting information about them and how they appeared. She was alleged to have used a radio transmitter backstage to transmit these details to a hidden earphone worn by her husband in order for him to do his fake prophecies. Popoff was bankrupted after his fraud was exposed.
You seem to be disregarding what Jesus actually said in John 14:12-14.Already that is false doctrine, because the Bible is clear that only some have that gift, not all.
Nope. You are just out of context. You seem to be disregarding what Jesus actually said in John 14:12-14.

Interesting... You do realize that the Lord Jesus does not reject them for doing signs and wonders in his name..My view of signs and wonders in these days, which i consider the times just before the return of Jesus, Is that Christians have to be very wary of them for two reasons..
1) Because their is a lot of fake scamming of Christians going on and it is fairly easy to set up a fake video of healing going on..
2) Because in the end times deceivers will have the ability to do false signs and lying wonders.. So that if it where possible they would fool even the very elect of God...
I am not saying that all modern signs and wonders are of satan.. I have been involved in two such events .. A healing and a partial healing.. But i am sure that miracles are being performed with the assistance of demonic spirits.. We read in the Bible a very serious warning of what will be happening in the last days::
2 Thessalonians 2: KJV
3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; {4} Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. {5} Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? {6} And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. {7} For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. {8} And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: {9} Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, {10} And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. {11} And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: {12} That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
So God will allow false miracles to happen in the end times to cause people who have rejected the Love of the truth ( the true Gospel message of the LORD Jesus Christ) to believe in a lie and be lead into eternal destruction.. We read that on the day of Judgement many of these people who believed that they where serving Jesus and performing miracles will be rejected by Jesus:::
Matthew 7: KJV
21 "¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. {22} Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? {23} And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
So these people declare Jesus as Lord on the day of judgement and they did these things thinking they where serving Jesus.. But in the end Jesus casts them out..
So the most important thing i believe in these times is to look past any miracles or signs being performed and wait to see what doctrines and teachings the ones doing them believe and preach..

To be honest..and “bythespirit“ you must be. You have not yet been a part of it..The fact that you're not willing to state the reasons why you left them casts a shadow of doubt upon the trustworthiness of their practices.
