What is your opinion about this? Are all these 'healings' staged (hired actors) or are they made with the power of the enemy?

I cannot say that they are all fake. Though I am sure some are.

One thing to keep in mind about Youtube is people make money by posting videos. And some make a lot of money doing this. The more views a video gets, the more money it rakes in. So people are more likely to post dramatic/sensational material, because it attracts more views.

I think the best thing to do is look at what these people believe. Are the beliefs they are sharing biblical? If not, I wouldn't trust them.

Did you leave especially because of that practice? Did you get to keep your healing powers after you left them?

I didn't get that far with them. They typically will tell people to "get kickstarted" which means you go out with one of the more senior members of the group and heal on the streets. I got baptized by the group and like they always do they tried to cast out demons once I was baptized and nothing happened then they prayed for me to be filled with the Holy Spirit which nothing happened either. I tried telling them before I was already full of the Spirit and just needed baptized but apparently they didn't believe me because the rest of the time I was there all they asked me was "Are you sure?" "Did you feel any conflict?" Etc.

Many of that group in my area are followers of pretty extreme groups that believe in things such as gold dust, Holy Spirit Fireballs, etc. which is why I left the group. Teaching that we can manipulate the Holy Spirit at our will is probably blasphemy and definitely Heresy and I want none of it.

Now some of them are good people, in fact I am sure most are. But it is a dangerous thing because they view discipleship as "kickstarting"... aka they will preach repentance and baptism, then baptize, show you how to heal then leave you and unless there are other sins in your area you are alone. Their reasoning is you have the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will keep a child of God from false doctrine and so they don't need senior level discipleship, yadda yadda. I am simplifying it but that is the gist of it

Some of their doctrine is scriptural but they really do not have a lot of doctrine. As I previously stated their doctrine is "Everyone is an evangelist so let's show you how to preach repentance, baptize, heal and cast out demons" then set the new convert loose upon the world.

man that's terrible... seems like they ignore the order that was established in the early churches as well and the teaching that took place. Can't just send people out after they just got saved they need to know the word so they can walk in spirit and truth.

Also one major difference I notice between him and other faiths...doens't seem to have a set doctrine could be wrong though. Seems like they focus a ton on The Spirit (maybe a bit too much and are wrong in some areas seem believe as you point out in "using" or controlling The Spirit) but not enough on the word.

No there is no set doctrine from Torben (their founder/leader) he shows people how to baptize, heal, cast out demons, preach repentance and then they may never see him again, or those who affiliate with him.

No doctrine in the way of a statement of faith or something like that. They say the Book of Acts is their SoF

Already that is false doctrine, because the Bible is clear that only some have that gift, not all.

"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers" - Ephesians 4:11 (NKJV)

This is why it is important to delve deeply into the Scriptures, and to learn how to do proper exegesis. People are being deceived because they lack knowledge of these things (see Hos. 4:6; Prov. 14:12; Heb. 5:11-14).

I do not know these people. Jesus was preaching the Gospel given by God. He was able to give gifts of healing. I do not think there could be spiritual healing without God's approval. If a church was empowered, I would expect to find not only healing, but God inspired teaching as well.

There was a televangelist in the 80's named Peter Popoff. He was able to tell some of the audience things about them without having met them. It was later revealed his wife was meeting members of the audience before the show and collecting information about them and how they appeared. She was alleged to have used a radio transmitter backstage to transmit these details to a hidden earphone worn by her husband in order for him to do his fake prophecies. Popoff was bankrupted after his fraud was exposed.

Well to begin .before you ask a question that sounds set up to oppose something.
You need to present the facts of the case as to what they teach.

They don't just say you can have the Holy spirit and then you can heal to come get some lol.
Thats not even close.

They teach that man kind are sinners and we must repent of our sin change our mind go the other way cease serving sin ,be baptised in water for the remission of our sin and you will receive the Holy Spirit of promise.
Then ..we are to.live in obedience to the Lord Jesus being his disciples .forsaking sin and this world to do so.and learn to obey while increasingly living a holy life. And do what he said to do.Go,heal the sick, preach the Gospel ,drive out devil's ....baptizing people in Jesus name And make more disciples...-
In other words They teach The Full Gosple of the Lord Jesus.

S
o..we see its quite diiferent to what you state in your OP.

Interesting... You do realize that the Lord Jesus does not reject them for doing signs and wonders in his name..
Nor does he reject them.for casting out devil's in his name..-these are good works against such there is no law .
No..he rejects them because they continued to live sinful lives.they did not forsake thier sin.they did not repent of it .and so he calls them “you workers of iniquity“
You doers of sin .they thought they can continue to enjoy thier favorites sins and the works would atone ...wrong.

And this is what makes “the last reformation” extremely unpopular in religious circles..they teach an uncompromising gospel of repentance .

The fact that you're not willing to state the reasons why you left them casts a shadow of doubt upon the trustworthiness of their practices.
To be honest..and “bythespirit“ you must be. You have not yet been a part of it..
You attended 1 day of a conference held by some who aernt adhering to the teaching but are more Bethnal Redding and Todd white type teaching..
That's not living it.. Or being a part of something.
