When will there be a King? Who is the next in line? Is it Prince Charles?

Plus William will probably want a little more time to get used to the idea.
To be born into that family is to miss out on a lot of rights and opportunities, the right to choose what work to do, the right to choose to avoid public office, the right to marry whoever you wish. It is not fair that someone should have their life mapped out for them just because of the family they are born into. Those born in poverty should have the opportunity to climb to the top of society even be head of state. Those born into the family of the head of state should have the right to choose how they live their life. If you agree that the above is just then you cannot support a monarchy it as unfair to the monarchs family as to the peasant's children. He's only just finishing university. To become King soon would be to miss out on a lot of other opportunities.
Now Charles is King!
Good for him!
