The difference between infinite and immutable is that infinite is something without measure and immutable is something that is unchangeable.

For the most part, people agree that God is these two things: infinite and immutable. But what people do not realize that having these two things is impossible; either God is infinite or God is immutable.

If God is infinite then he seeks change within himself as it is potential in which God views himself. If God is immutable then God is complete; but God cannot be infinite if he is complete and un-changeable.

The potentiality of God being infinite results in the progressive force of change; for God has to reach the infinite potential in order to be infinite, in that he sees himself as incomplete for the infinite possibility that results in such potential.

The result of being immutable results in that God does not see himself as infinite; as God would appear to himself to be complete.

But if God is infinite then whatever state he is in, he is always finite in order to reach that potential of the possibility of becoming infinite.

If God is omniscient and omnipotent then God has the power to never be all-knowing; and therefore in the lack of all-knowing, God does not have the power (knowledge) to be all-powerful. If this becomes true, as it should be the only possibility for the stated reason, then God does not become immutable but rather the potential to become infinite.

In the infinite potential in God being all-knowing and all-powerful, God cannot become all-knowing or all-powerful; otherwise the potential for the infinite is lost.

So either God is infinite or immutable.

If God is immutable then God does not have the power to become infinite in that he is ever-seeking to expand his consciousness, unto an infinite potentiality. So basically, if God is immutable then he does not have the power to change himself and therefore is not all-knowing and all-powerful.

If God is un-changeable then God does not realize the progressive state in which we exist; and therefore serves no infinite potential in order to transcend the possibility of even him-self to a state of consciousness which is expansive.

If the world is infinite, in that it will always exist, then even God is un-able to contain infinity as that which is infinite becomes that which is without measure.

The infinite possibility must be the view point of God.

Did you purposely write it so hard to follow? :D

But anyway I think I got what you ment, but I believe this problem your having here is to do with using words in the way they are not ment to be used, or giving the same word two meanings.

God is infinite because He is out side time. To be honest I have no clue what you ment by ''If God is infinite then he seeks change within himself as it is potential in which God views himself.'' God is infinite because He never began and will never end. God does not contain infinity...infinity is not a thing, its a size of something. So God has been around an infinite amount of time as He is outside time.

God is immutable the way He is never changes. He is outside time and all-knowing, and so He has experienced everything He will ever experience, so will never change.

You have a poor understanding of both of the concepts of "infinite and immutable" i suggest you look up maximal, or suprema as a mathematical concept.
