Haven't heard the new Animal Collective stuff, thought Los Campesinos was a bit too frothy for me. been enjoying Florence & the Machine and Flying Lotus this last wee while.

new animal collective is great, not as good as the new neko case.

"dark night of the soul" by dj dangermouse and sparklehorse is good, too.

Antiarte - i totally forgot about the new Neko Case album. I just heard it for the first time last week (I'm not even sure when it came out), and I was blown away. Definitely her best work to date, imo.

I did get to listen to the new Vampire Weekend record over the past few days. Pretty solid followup. A few songs haven't held up as well with multiple listens, but there are a few that I really like. Anyone else heard it?

Anyone heard much of any of the artists on the BBC's Sounds of 2010? (Their 2009 list was actually not too bad) Listened to a bit of Owl City the other day , thought he sounded pretty much identical to the Postal Service.

haven't heard any of those, except a bit of owl city. postal service ripoffs really.

i just read joanna newsom's new album is a triple cd. by the end of february. finally.

Any updates on peoples playlists? Recently I've been listening to Joan As Policewoman, Grizzly Bear, Malcolm Middleton and old Beta Band and ...Trail of Dead stuff.

I used to listen to a ton of Indie music, then I got into the whole post-rock/post-metal stuff lol.
But, as far as Indie bands go, I really think Band Of Horses tops them all... No Age is also awesome.
