Some of my favorite "indie" bands would consist of
Girls, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Neutral Milk Hotel, Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors, The Mountain Goats, The Olivia Tremor Control, Panda Bear, Beach House, Grizzly Bear.. Hmm. There's more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head. But yeah, I suggest, anyone looking for some new music, take a listen to some of these bands. My favorite would have to be Girls, or Neutral Milk Hotel. But they're all pretty closely tied up, otherwise.
